They Could Hardly Wait For Their Baby Girl To Be Born, But When She Did They Panicked

It is of great joy and excitement for new parents-to-be to hold their loved ones when labor day is approaching.

Lacey and Andrew Jackson, parents of two beautiful boys, Eliott who is 7, and Devin, who is 4, couldn’t wait to meet their third child, a baby girl.

When baby Natalie came in this world, they were overwhelmed with joy. But when they saw the doctor’s facial expression, they knew something is not right. When they saw their baby girl, they were panicking.

“Hearing her first cry was incredibly beautiful,” her mother Lacey said. “After my C-section, the nurse raised our child up, and I noticed the large black bruise on the left side of her face.

“She was stunning, but she appeared to have a bruise, and I was concerned that it was due to something I had done to her during my pregnancy.

“Medics stated it was only a birthmark, and she was breathing and healthy,” she said.

Natalie was beautiful baby girl, but her parents were concerned that she might have a tough future with the birthmark on her face.

“As I hugged our precious baby girl, feeling enamored with her, I worried that people would only perceive her for her birthmark, rather than the beautiful person I knew she would grow up to be,” Lacey said.

“At that point, I made the decision that we would love her unconditionally and give her every ounce of confidence in the world, so she could see how lovely she is – and how she can do everything she desires.”

Her brothers were curious to meet their sister and see what is covering her face, but Andrew and Natalie explained that the patch on her face was part of a superhero costume.

And with that, she would be able to do extraordinary things in life. What a smart answer!

Complete strangers sometimes stare at her, but some people say she is unique and gorgeous.

“We’ll always tell her it’s a part of who she is and who she’s destined to be,” her parents say. “People will always remember how unique she is because of her birthmark, as well as how lovely she is on the inside and out.”

Her parents were still concerned that the birthmark might affect her vision, so they took her to an ophthalmologist.

They also visited a dermatologist and a skin specialist. At the end, she also did an MRI scan. Every single test they did gave a positive answer—nothing to worry about. She had a slight risk of developing melanoma, but dermatologists assured her parents that she was going to be OK.

Her parents will make sure that they love her for the unique superhero that she is!
