Royal Expert Claims Queen Camilla Got The “Perfect” Revenge On Meghan Markle

There were many highs and lows throughout Meghan Markle’s time as a senior member of the royal family. The populace held great affection for the Duchess. But when she and Prince Harry left the Firm, things got ugly.

According to sources, the Sussexes not only accused members of the royal family of numerous offences, but they also seemed uninterested in offering apologies.

Though it gradually soured, the bond between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle was thought to be crucial to the monarchy’s survival.

Queen Camilla made every effort to assist Meghan Markle in acclimating to life as a royal in the meantime. Sadly, the Duchess’s breach of a commitment to her caused everything to alter.

Certainly, Camilla and Meghan aren’t even close to being pals anymore. It seems that the queen has now obtained her “perfect revenge” on Harry’s spouse.

The royal family welcomed Meghan Markle with great enthusiasm. In addition to welcoming a new member into the family, the former Suits star’s American heritage would undoubtedly help the royal family.

The people liked the Duchess, but when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle broke up with the family, things rapidly became ugly.

Queen Camilla wanted to help Meghan Markle settle into royal life

Meghan appeared to get along well with the rest of the family when she initially joined the royal family. She has close relationships with Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II as well as Camilla, another member of her family.

There was a significant similarity between Meghan Markle and Queen Camilla. Since they had both married into the royal family, a close friendship was formed right away. They reportedly decided to treat each other with respect going forward, including at work, as a result.

For Meghan Markle’s adjustment to life as a royal, Camilla tried her hardest. The former Parker-Bowles asked her to a private lunch shortly before she married Harry, during which he talked to her about how he handled the strain and how the press had treated her following Princess Diana’s death.

Furthermore, according to the Daily Mail, Camilla advised Meghan to “ride out the storm if negative press would occur,” and concentrate on the positive aspects of her position within the royal family.

Harry was reportedly given similar instructions by Charles.

Queen Camilla “was very sensitive to Meghan,” friend says

But Meghan seemed to have a different opinion. She asserted in an ITV programme that not many people were concerned about her welfare, remarking, “Not many people have asked if I’m OK.”

A friend of Meghan Markle’s told the Daily Mail, “Meg was really grateful to Camilla who was very supportive and invited her out for private lunches, particularly around the time of her marriage. She listened to her and understood that it’s really difficult joining the Royal Family from an otherwise ‘normal’ life.”

“Much like Meghan, Camilla had experienced a lot of negative press and hostility from courtiers due to her relationship with Charles when he was still married to Diana” the friend continued.

“She was very sensitive to Meghan and provided her with support, advising her to ride out the storm and that it would all pass – but ultimately Meghan didn’t listen.”

A palace assistant, meanwhile, told the British publication that Camilla recognised what it was like to come from a “normal life” and find oneself unexpectedly in the realm of the royal family.

The palace insider stated, “As a consequence, she tries very hard to make people welcome and help them find their feet, and has done so for many years.”

“Her consciously offering to mentor and guide is something that she really does try and do. That applies to many people, not just the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex.”

In November 2019, Camilla was joined by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for their first formal engagement. Only a few weeks had passed since the Sussexes had started organising their royal farewell, and Camilla had been a huge supporter of the couple at the time, according to Vanity Fair.

According to a source “She doesn’t want to see anyone struggling, and she is fond of Meghan.”

After Meghan Markle “stole the spotlight,” Camilla was angry

As previously indicated, Queen Camilla was in a unique position to relate to and empathise with Meghan Markle because of the bad press as well as their history of marrying into the royal family.

As Charles assisted Harry, she assisted Meghan in advice. However, Meghan ultimately did something that Camilla found extremely upsetting.

Camilla was supposed to go to the Women of the World festival’s tenth anniversary in 2020. Meghan reportedly pledged not to stand in the spotlight when she was scheduled to give a speech there.

According to The Mirror, Camilla and her group spent more than a year organising the event. However, Meghan took centre stage once there, upsetting Camilla.

“Camilla’s work is very important to her and her decision to highlight the scourge of domestic violence at the 10th anniversary of Women of the World was a carefully thought-out plan,” a royal insider said.

“Of course it was known Harry and Meghan would be doing engagements this week, some privately, but everyone was in agreement that Camilla’s speech should take precedence. Unfortunately some people had other ideas.”

By sharing photos of herself at the event the same day, Meghan Markle was accused of taking Camilla’s limelight. The Daily Mail reported that Buckingham Palace had asked royal media to concentrate on Camilla rather than Meghan, but they failed to do so.

Meghan Markle’s “perfect revenge” from Queen Camilla

When the Sussexes departed the royal family, Camilla and Meghan’s relationship didn’t end well. It’s quite the tale, especially in light of the fact that Camilla supposedly begged Harry to leave the meeting with his father, King Charles, following his cancer diagnosis.

However, Camilla has now exacted her revenge on Meghan—at least in light of their 2020 royal engagement.

Years ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle inked a huge contract with Spotify. But the whole Spotify arrangement was cancelled, and Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast was taken down, making the deal a complete bust.

Queen Camilla is becoming well-known in the podcast industry in the interim. She started a brand-new project in 2021 called The Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room, a book club discussing suggested books and other topics.

It was established amid the pandemic and quickly rose to prominence.

“I think I’d like it to be something that everybody could delve into and find something that suited them and enjoy it,” Camilla said. “I just think it’s because I love reading myself I think a lot of other people also get a huge amount of pleasure from it.”

The Queen’s Reading Room is the proper name now, and Hampton Court Palace will host a one-day event for the Queen’s Reading Room Festival on June 8.

The Sun claims that the event would “gather authors, experts, actors, and literature lovers for a day celebrating the written word” and that it will be “bigger and better” than its debut last year.

“Camilla’s podcast has been a great success,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, told The Sun, “She has proven many times over she can bring in any of the big names from the world of the arts she wants.”

“Given Meghan’s apparent disinterest in Queen Camilla, I doubt if she has a nice word to say about her or her podcast.”

“Meghan in particular will be livid”

Denise Palmer Davies, director of Borne Media and marketing expert, claims that Camilla’s accomplishments are the “perfect revenge” on Meghan.

“After all the hurtful things Harry has said about Camilla, she has finally got her own back on them,” she told The Sun. “I bet Meghan in particular will be livid over the whole thing, and probably a bit embarrassed that hers fell at the first hurdle.”

Would Camilla ever discuss Meghan or Harry in public, then? Ingrid Seward claims that the Queen is “far too polite” to make a statement.

“I don’t think Camilla has the time or inclination to feel anything much about Meghan,” she told The Sun. “She is confident and comfortable in herself and would see no necessity to give Meghan or what she is doing or saying a second thought.”
