Ellen’s Dj Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss Dies By Suicide At The Age Of 40
Ellen DeGeneres show star Stephen “tWitch” Boss the DJ has died at the age of 40.
Sadly, TMZ reported that Boss committed suicide, leaving behind a wife and three children.
When the DJ’s wife, Allison Holker, raced into an LAPD station shouting that her husband had left the house without his car, the authorities allegedly took notice.
I was heartbroken to learn about the passing of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who I got to know over the years through my Let’s Move! initiative and visits to The Ellen Show. My heart goes out to his wife, Allison, and his three children during this difficult time. pic.twitter.com/C5AEmlfOrj

A nearby hotel contacted the police later that day to say that they had discovered DJ’s lifeless body in a guest room.
It has been reported that Boss shot himself in the head. A wife and three kids are left behind.
There’s no denying that the DJ’s meteoric rise to stardom can be traced back to his appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Boss joined the show in 2014 and remained till its cancellation in 2016. Even more impressive, Ellen promoted him to executive producer.
Boss was not only a producer for Ellen’s show, but also a choreographer and an actress. During the 2008 season of So You Think You Can Dance, he placed second overall.
They had just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary when tragedy struck the Boss family.
The DJ shared a photo of the two of them on Instagram with the message “Happy anniversary my darling @allisonholker #9years.”
If Stephen 'tWitch' Boss's passing should tell us anything, it's that we never know what anyone else might be going through. Treat people with a little bit more kindness this season.

You have no idea the struggles that people are undergoing on the inside. It’s important to keep in mind that even if someone puts on a happy face, they may be experiencing internal struggles that they’re not open to sharing.
Always act kindly and sympathetically with other people.
