Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Dies At 71 After Cardiac Arrest

Following a tragic medical emergency, one of professional wrestling’s most legendary stars passed away, leaving the industry in mourning.

On July 24, 2025, Hulk Hogan, the iconic personality who helped popularise professional wrestling, passed away at the age of 71 from a heart attack in his Clearwater, Florida, home. The unexpected death of the WWE legend caps off a revolutionary career that revolutionised the sport and made a lasting impression on entertainment around the world.

Around dawn on Thursday, emergency personnel were sent to Hulk’s Florida home, according to TMZ Sports. Soon after, he was loaded into an ambulance.

This unexpected incident occurred months after Hulk had a successful “little fusion procedure” in May to address some of his neck problems. The wrestler, according to a spokesman, was recovering quickly and in a “quick turnaround.”

Hulk was no stranger to surgeries. In 2024, he even revealed to Logan Paul on the “Impaulsive” podcast that he’d gone through as many as 25 procedures in the previous decade. “I’ve had 10 back surgeries,” he added. “Both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders — everything.

Unfortunately, since then, there have been a number of rumours regarding his health, particularly after he was admitted to the hospital due to neck problems.

Bubba the Love Sponge, a local radio personality, stated on air on June 18 that Hulk’s condition was so bad that family members were being called to bid him farewell.

He strongly believed this insider, even though he admitted that his source might not be up to date. The statement, of course, caused a great deal of alarm.

The news was swiftly refuted by TMZ Sports, which quoted a spokesman who claimed that Hulk wasn’t “close to death” and had just been admitted to the hospital for persistent back and neck problems. The representative claimed that the wrestler was already on the move once more and taking care of the same illnesses that he had endured for years.

Furthermore, his wife, Sky Daily Hogan, denied rumours a few weeks ago that the Hulk was in a coma, stating that he was doing well despite having multiple heart procedures.

Fans are devastated by the news, particularly because the new Real American Freestyle league is anticipated to debut this summer.

Additionally, he had collaborated with companies like Real American Beer, which recently posted a picture of a Hulk beach towel on the sand along with the words, “Beach day sponsored by brotherhood.”

With his outrageous demeanour, Hulk Hogan transformed professional wrestling into a family sport that appealed to a larger demographic. Both children and their parents loved him. He eventually found success in Hollywood.

He starred in “Thunder in Paradise” and its two follow-ups in the 1990s. He also gained additional notoriety in 1996 when he established the New World Order.

During the 2000s, Hulk and his family, which included his daughters, Brooke and Nick Hogan, as well as his ex-wife Linda Hogan, appeared on the reality TV program “Hogan Knows Best.” He even appeared in the music video for his daughter’s song “Everything to Me” as a caretaker.

Nevertheless, he continued to be a mainstay of the WWE. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Hulk’s family and his followers worldwide during this difficult period.
