To Make A Point, Piers Morgan Eats Steak In Front Of A Vegan Activist

When Piers Morgan attempted to refute a vegan activist, he went viral.

The former host of Good Morning Britain is widely known for stirring up controversy with his views on a variety of topics, including his frequent criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and his provocative positions on social issues.

Additionally, he’s seen vegans on a few occasions, and the TV host once raised an eyebrow or two.

Following the release of the aforementioned interview, a number of individuals responded on social media, complimenting Morgan.

One viewer wrote, “Oh wow, I used to dislike Piers Morgan, but after this, my respect for him has reached stratospheric levels.”

Another added: “Piers, you got me laughing.”

A third person said, “I’m always 50/50 on love-hate for Piers, but he’s hilarious here.”

“Piers destroyed this guy, and even he knows it. The look on his face during the entire interview is absolutely great,” somebody else commented.

However, others weren’t so impressed with Morgan, with one person penning: “You are 60 years old; you should be embarrassed by that infantile display.”

In agreement, a second said: “Television content at its absolute worst. Have a word, Piers. How old are you, 12?”

Animal Rebellion is a “mass movement that uses nonviolent civil disobedience to bring about a transition to a just and sustainable plant-based food system.” The viral interview came after a series of actions by the group.

The Guardian claims that in September 2022, more than 100 of its members put an end to the supply of fresh milk in several areas of England.

According to Metro, the movement allegedly cleared up the milk aisles in upscale supermarkets all throughout the nation.

A single campaigner also went after Salt Bae’s restaurant in London.

In order to debate the matter, Morgan invited Nathan McGovern, a spokesman for Animal Rebellion, to his talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The ex-GMB presenter began by telling McGovern, “I think you all look pretty pasty-faced and unhealthy to me.”

He continued: “What I don’t do is I don’t go running into vegan restaurants and start screaming abuse at you all and have to be pulled out by people because you’re ruining everyone’s fun.”

In response, McGovern stated that the host had introduced the discussion with a “complete blinder” before going on to describe precision fermentation, which, according to The Good Food Institute, is the process of using microbes to manufacture particular useful components.

He asserted that this method could produce animal protein with a “carbon footprint” and a “fraction of the land.”

Morgan interjected this, stating, “But I like eating meat.”

When asked what he eats, McGovern replied that he likes “seasonal British fruit and veg” and “supporting British farmers.”

A steak meal was brought out for Morgan to enjoy after he told the member of Animal Rebellion during the debate that “none of you make me want to change my mind.”

The host said, “Here’s my point, I love eating steak. I’m not going to stop eating steak. And the very last thing on earth that will stop me eating steak is people like you with your pasty faces running into our restaurants and telling us to stop eating steak.”

McGovern responded: “That is absolutely fine, Piers.”

Concluding the debate, Morgan told the activist: “If you want to win an argument, you just can’t be annoying all the time.”
