This Lovely Kid Sings To Her Baby Brother With Down Syndrome And It Will Make Your Day

The love between family members is unbreakable. Yes, we often hear some “ugly” stories on the news that happen between family members, but most of the time we don’t hear the lovely and kind-hearted things that take place every second.

Having a child with Down Syndrome is much like having any child. Children with Down Syndrome, just like any other child need and deserve immense support from their family members.

Yes, it will affect everyone, including parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family, but that shouldn’t be the case to worry.

As reported in the American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, researchers found that in 87 percent of families they surveyed, everyone – parents and siblings – said they loved their family member who had Down syndrome, and almost as many families said they felt pride for the child.

There may be some added stress because of therapies and health concerns but almost every country supports families for this.

However, when we see videos like the one bellow, we just get the faith in humanity restored.

Luckily, Amanda Lee Gray took this incredible footage of her lovely kids forming an unbreakable bond.

She wrote on the caption of the video:

“My daughter Lydia was watching Bo while I was in the shower. Came out to this. If she didn’t have a guitar I don’t know if she would know how to babysit him. This is her go to. It’s proof that music therapy works. Bo is 25 months old and has a 12 word vocabulary. Every word he has learned has been through music and singing.”
