She Strapped Her Baby In A Carseat And Threw It Out The Window. When They Found What Happened It Send Chills Down Their Spine…

Wyoming is a small city with a population of about 1400. In small towns everyone knows everyone, and that’s exactly the place where 21-year-old Shelby Ann Carter wanted to raise her family. She had a fiancé and both lived with her mother. Shelby worked as a beautician and studied to become a pharmacy technician.

Her whole life took a turn for the better when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Keana Davis. She enjoyed her time as a parent, but unfortunately, her happiness was about to come to a very tragic end…

“She was leaving a positive mark in town,” said the town’s mayor, but on January 30, just a day after her 21 birthday tragedy truck the family. Shelby was home when a fire broke out and called 911 for help. She told them that she was having trouble breathing, but she didn’t say anything about her child which confused them when they reached the scene of the fire.

Emergency respondents found her lying on the second floor of the house, but unfortunately it was too late to save her. She died of carbon monoxide poisoning due to the fire. What confused them was when they found Shelby’s 12-day-old daughter. What happened?!

The whole house was soaring in flames, but that didn’t stop her to commit one last act of bravery as a mother. In those moments of immense stress and fear, she came up with an ingenious idea to rescue Keana Davis by strapping her into a car seat and dropping her out of the window. She obviously used her last ounce of strength to do so to make sure her child survives the flames.

“I guess it’s the motherly instinct to take care of their young. We’re all wondering why she didn’t go out after the baby,” explained the chief of the local volunteer fire department.

Her little angel Keana Davis was rushed to the hospital where they saw that she was completely unharmed. She was released to the custody of her relatives. Her mother was gone, but she still had a family to take care of her loved one.

After the accident, the community gathered and started a fundraising campaign to help the family rebuild the ruins and rebuild their lives. In only a week they raised $40,000.

Her little one may never got the chance to know her mother, but her act of bravery will make sure that she will always be proud of her! Shelby is a true hero and will be dearly remembered by her community for eternity. It was also a wonderful response that the neigbors came with a swift response and raised enough funds to let the family rebuild their lives while coping with the tragic death of Shelby Ann Carter.

Please SHARE this beautiful story with your friends and family and make sure her heroic act as a mother is remembered!
