Royal Journalist Claims: Kate Middleton Has Suffered Postoperative Complications In Hospital

When it was announced last week that Kate Middleton had been admitted to the hospital for an abdominal procedure, which would prevent her from participating in any formal events until after Easter, the Royal Family created quite a commotion.

It should come as no surprise that the news of Kate’s operation sparked an outpouring of opinions and views given her status and popularity. Although the official statement from the Royal Family said that the treatment was scheduled and that Kate was doing well, many were concerned that the future queen’s condition might be worse than the Palace was letting on.

The specifics of Kate’s illness remain unclear, and because of the communication void that is accepted as normal in royal circles, suspicions have been allowed to grow.

The news that Kate Middleton had undergone an abdominal procedure at a London hospital and would be hospitalized for the next two weeks was met with reaction from royal admirers worldwide on Wednesday of last week.

“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery. The surgery was successful and it is expected she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter,” the statement from Kensington Palace on its social media pages.

“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.”

The statement continued: “Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share. The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”

The Princess of Wales is anticipated to recuperate at her family’s Windsor residence after being released from the hospital. She and Prince William moved there from Adelaide Cottage in London in 2022.

It’s anticipated that Prince William would reduce his public appearances while Kate heals. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the couple’s three children, will benefit from this more effectively.

People Magazine quickly cited reports stating that Kate’s upcoming stomach surgery was necessary for “non-cancerous” reasons. Although that may be the truth, there are currently rumors from other sources suggesting that things haven’t been easy.

Concha Calleja, a Spanish journalist and purported royal specialist, has stated that she spoke with a palace insider who informed her that Kate had a problem following her surgery.

“I have spoken to an aide at the Royal Household and they assure me that something has gone wrong in the postoperative period,” Calleja allegedly said, according to Spanish publication Marca. “The situation is so serious that that is why they have decided to send these two statements,” she continued.

“The last time we saw her was at the Christmas lunch and from then on she began to feel unwell, Kate was admitted on 28 December and is in the hands of the doctors for several days.

“I believe that the Palace will issue a new communiqué in the next few days explaining better what is happening, the operation was serious in itself, lasting several hours and with a certain risk, a risk that did not occur on the operating table but in the postoperative period.”

In a prior statement, Kate expressed her opinion that hospitals are not “places she wanted to hang around in.”

She talked about the terrible morning sickness she experienced after giving birth to George.

“I think, yeah I did stay in hospital overnight, I remember it was one of the hottest days and night with huge thunderstorms so I didn’t get a huge amount of sleep, but George did which was really great,” the princess said.

“I was keen to get home because, for me, being in hospital, I had all the memories of being in hospital because of being sick so it wasn’t a place I wanted to hang around in. So, I was really desperate to get home and get back to normality.”
