Report Reveals Hulk Hogan’s Last Conversation With Daughter Brooke
As new information about their final private conversation before his untimely death surfaces, Brooke Hogan finds solace in a final phone conversation with her estranged father, a WWE legend.
Despite their separation in his later years, Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke Hogan has expressed happiness that she had one last opportunity to talk to her father when he passed away from cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida, home on July 24, 2025.
On Thursday morning, Brooke received a text message from her brother Nick informing her husband, Steven Oleksy, of his passing. Because of a number of problems including the way the WWE legend handled his daughter, Brooke and Hulk had been at odds for years.
About two weeks prior to Hulk’s marriage to Sky Daily, in early September 2023, they had their last chat. According to reports, Brooke conveyed “deep love and concern” during that contact, advising him to slow down and take better care of his deteriorating health.
During that conversation, Hogan gave her a general apologies without defining it, but he did not heed her advise. Her husband, Steven, had made several attempts to reconcile her and her father, even though she did not attend the wedding.
Hogan never met his grandchildren and reportedly responded coldly when he reached out after Brooke’s life-threatening delivery. One source claims that the Hulk “ultimately wanted a relationship with her under his terms.”
Brooke is thankful that she was able to say “I love you” during their most recent discussion, despite years of struggle. She claimed that knowing that she has done everything in her power to shield and assist her father throughout the years brings her serenity.
Brooke attributes her challenging upbringing to more than just Hulk. Instead, even though her mother blames the WWE wrestler, she holds both of her parents responsible.
In a recent social media post, Hulk’s ex-wife Linda Hogan broke down in tears as she talked about her broken connection with her daughter Brooke and long-standing family issues. But instead of being silent, Brooke retaliated against her mother’s assertions.
Linda talked about her loneliness in a video that was first shared on her Instagram stories on March 26, 2025. She said that although she generally gets along well with others by herself, that day seemed different. She reflected on the past while overcome with sorrow, saying, “It’s been 15 or longer years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess.”
The “Hogan Knows Best” star then opened up about her relationship with her daughter, “Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She’s had twins, she got married, she didn’t tell us.”
The 65-year-old added, “She had a huge fight with Terry. I don’t know how that reflected on to me, but she cut me out too. I haven’t talked to her for seven years, almost eight years now.” However, Linda revealed that she still has a relationship with her and Hulk’s son, Nick, whom she labeled “such a good boy.”
The TV star acknowledged that she had never before shared a piece this honest and emotional, but she felt compelled to talk about her history with Hulk, the difficulties in their marriage, and the long-term effects it has had. Her accusations of him were unreserved: “complete liar” and “sex addict.”
What frustrated her even more was seeing him move on effortlessly, promoting brands as if nothing had happened. “He’s such a hero, right? Not,” she said, giving a thumbs down.
Linda said Hulk never tried to make amends or rebuild their family, even after she gave him several opportunities to do so. She is still burdened by their broken relationships years later. Despite the sorrow, she expressed that she loves living alone and has no intention of ever being married again, even though she hopes that things would get better.
Meanwhile, Brooke didn’t hold back after her mother tearfully blamed Hulk for their family’s fractures. “There was a recent video posted by my mother that was concerning enough for people to send to me, that had made me feel the need to address the tip of a very large iceberg that is my immediate family,” she said in a statement on Instagram.
Brooke blamed her parents for years of problems, claiming her mother was equally to blame for the chaos. The singer also made it apparent that she did not make the decision to sever her relationship with her parents lightly. Even though she was just giving a little portion of her story, she admitted that it hardly touched the surface of what she had gone through.
She continued by saying that Linda had previously made and removed false allegations, and that her mother’s video was “mild” in comparison to the behavior she had seen for the majority of her life.
Despite this, Brooke expressed some sympathy for her mother, “That being said, she has been through A LOT of trauma and pain, my heart breaks for her. You can’t control how others treat you but you can control how you treat others and cope with things.”
Brooke made it clear that her estrangement from her father had different causes than her estrangement from her mother. She clarified that her decisions were influenced by the treatment she received from each parent over the course of her life.
She then opened up about the painful experiences she had endured. “I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood. Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes,” she alleged.
The 36-year-old explained how she lost confidence and self-worth as a result of this pattern of abuse. She endured public humiliation, nasty remarks, and verbal abuse even as an adult.
She disclosed that she had first justified bad behavior out of love before realizing she had been duped, coerced, and deceived. Additionally, Brooke mentioned that she had been made fun of for previous errors and had even seen others take advantage of her humiliation. Up to this point, she has remained strong and silent throughout it all.
Brooke, who is determined to reclaim her life, declared, “I am breaking the chain. It ends with ME.” She noted that she made the painful decision to cut ties with her parents despite the deep love she still had for them.
After severing her relationship, she issued a statement in September 2023 to allay media rumors after missing her father’s third wedding.
She noted, “For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values. I wish him well ❤️.”
Now, the singer has admitted, “Inside of me, there is a little girl who desperately wants and needs her mom and dad. No one wants this, to feel so much pain and not have parents. But their behavior became more painful than their absence.”
Her future, her spouse, her kids, and the life she has devoted herself to are her top priorities. “I hope everyone can give me the chance to do that without injecting any more poison into it,” she said.
On January 19, 2025, Brooke had shared the joyful news of the birth of her twins. She revealed that she had been staying off social media to focus on welcoming her two little ones, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene Oleksy, who were born a couple of days prior, on January 15. She swooned, “Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”
After divorcing Hulk, Linda seemed to have moved on with her life, much like her daughter. Despite her recent breakdown, she is still committed to her activism and love of animals.
Her website states, “After a widely publicized divorce, Linda found the strength to rebuild her life and not look back. She encourages women everywhere that you can live and love again at any age. Linda is often asked to appear on TV news and talk shows to offer her advice on divorce, relationships, and women’s empowerment.”
The V celebrity is still involved in her advocacy work, helping organizations like the Children’s Special Olympics Miami Chapter, the Humane Society, and pet adoption organizations.
In addition to her charity endeavors, she manages her avocado farm, Sunny Girl Avocados, in Southern California and explores a number of entrepreneurial endeavors, such as future skincare and apparel lines. Linda likes living with her boyfriend, Charley, and their eleven dogs, and she alternates between Miami and Los Angeles.
Nevertheless, in her book “Wrestling the Hulk,” Linda travels back in time to describe her experience of escaping her twenty-four-year marriage to the legendary Hulk.
Her official website gives readers a glimpse into it, sharing, “Two decades after they wed, Linda found herself pinned in a corner when she learned of her husband’s affair with a younger woman. As she struggled with this crushing realization, she found herself thrust even further into the public eye when her son was involved in a devastating car accident.”
Linda’s life “became the target of an ambush of harsh criticism and relentless speculation by the media,” according to the website. She therefore discusses for the first time in the book the difficulties she endured behind the scenes during her marriage to Hulk, including abuse and adultery, and how she mustered the courage to start afresh.
Away from Hulk, mother and daughter have carved out their own routes, each negotiating life’s highs and lows in their own unique manner. Following his death, Brooke embraces motherhood and recovery, while Linda concentrates on advocacy and business endeavors.
