All of us are different which is why all of us are attracted to different things. Some people are attracted to intelligence, some to humor, and some, needless to say, to money and luxury. It’s a lot about preference. Some people are a little more attractive than the others. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are better looking. It just means that they are really well put together.
There are certain psychological characteristics that act as a contributing factor.
Today we bring you 5 ways to make yourself more attractive and we assure you, no expensive makeup or car is involved. To know what these ways are, continue reading.
1. Body language is the key
Body language plays an extremely important role when it comes to communicating with people. When you stand straight with a smile on your face, people feel welcomed to speak to you. Whereas having closed arms and no eye contact while speaking to someone can make them feel like you aren’t interested in talking to them. Using your phone while talking to someone can also come across as rude. Biting of nails or lips can put forth the idea that you are insecure. So just be at ease and don’t lose your calm.
2. First impression
All it takes is 30 seconds for someone to form an opinion about you. Of course, it can be changed later on, but that will require too much effort. Make sure your first impression is confident and polite. If you are meeting someone for the first time, smile and be polite. Shake their hand or give a friendly hug. It’s fine if you are not able to talk too much due to shyness but make sure you look welcoming enough for them to start a conversation. Be a good listener and look interested.
3. Don’t be too involved with yourself
Biting your nails or constantly settling your hair or touching your face makes it look like you are extremely nervous and insecure. Don’t be too loud but don’t be too soft either. Having the right kind of aura does half the work by itself. Make sure you aren’t busy with your phone. Being constantly busy with your phone makes the other person feel like you are avoiding them.
It’s ok if you don’t have an expensive dress or a flamboyant sports car. It is the little things about you that matter. Well shaped and painted nails, properly trimmer beard, ironed clothes can do wonders too. It’s your overall look that matters. You do not have to put tons of makeup to look beautiful and it’s absolutely fine if you want to too, just make sure everything is well blended and doesn’t look like you ate foundation for breakfast. Make sure your mascara isn’t bleeding. For a boy, it’s very important to have a good perfume on and a pair of clean shoes. It doesn’t have to be branded. It needs to be proper.
5. Don’t be boring
This is probably the toughest point and I know it’s easier said than done. Sometimes we hang out with people who do not have similar interests and that’s fine. It doesn’t mean that you won’t communicate with them at all and stay in the corner of a room. The best thing you can do is to listen. When you are having a conversation about something you don’t have knowledge of, listen to them carefully when they are speaking about it. This will make them feel like you are still interested in talking to them and will make them comfortable around you.
