Jamie Foxx Was Rushed To The Hospital With Medical Emergency At 55

The actor Jamie Foxx reportedly had a medical emergency on Tuesday and was transported to the hospital.

The family of the Django Unchained actor has said that after receiving “great care,” he is finally on the road to recovery.

In a statement, Corinne Foxx, daughter of the Oscar-winning actor, expressed gratitude to followers for their love and support.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne wrote in a post on Instagram.

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

Foxx has not commented on the situation, and his family hasn’t said anything, but TMZ is reporting that he was hospitalized due to a medical emergency.

The US-based news site said: “We’re told his condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family – some of whom were not in town – came to the hospital. One source told us, ‘He’s communicating now, and that’s good news’.”

Foxx was recently photographed two days ago in Atlanta, where he is now filming his newest movie, Back In Action.

The 55-year-old actor’s career has taken off since he won an Oscar in 2004 for playing blind musician Ray Charles in the film Ray.

Starring in films like Jarhead, Django Unchained, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, this Texan actor has quite the resume.

Cameron Diaz, who hasn’t been in a movie since 2014’s Annie, will reappear alongside him in his future feature.

Foxx is widely believed to have been the impetus for her comeback to acting, and he was a co-star in that film.

After the health scare earlier last week, I think we can all agree that Foxx is on the mend.
