Haunted Annabelle Doll Sparks Panic After Rumors Of Disappearance During U.S. Tour
The enigmatic location of the frightful doll that served as the inspiration for multiple horror films has been revealed.
There are very few things in the world that have the ability to make everyone feel afraid.
Spiders, sharks, and the debilitating fear of living up to your own standards are all present.Annabelle comes after that.
Yes, it is the authentic version.
There is a real-life version of her, even if you may recognise her from the Conjuring films.
Unfortunately, there were rumours that the haunted doll, who had spent the majority of its life in a cage, had gone crazy and no one knew where she was.
This information follows the announcement by museum officials of Annabelle’s location following reports that she had vanished.

As you may recall, the Raggedy Ann doll has caused havoc in every home she has lived in, and now she appears to be the source of much people’s fear.
Since Annabelle is truly a doll, it seems a bit unrealistic that she would just walk out on her own. She is allegedly haunted and has been kept in a wooden cage in a museum for horror enthusiasts to view.
She must have been pinched by someone, even though it was said that she had escaped.
The doll is often kept at the Warrens’ Occult Museum at NESPR, which was established by paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. However, it appears that she went missing while on tour in New Orleans.
Online users have, of course, been going crazy over Annabelle being out on the streets and about to attack at any time.
However, did she?
In a TikTok video uploaded on Saturday, May 24, NESPR lead investigator Dan Rivera stated that she is safe and sound and that the rumours were unfounded.
“I’m here at the museum right now, and I just wanna show you guys that Annabelle is in the Warrens’ Occult Museum,” Rivera said. “Let’s go inside and let’s check.”
She is securely inside her wooden casing, as seen in the video.
“Annabelle is not missing; she’s not in Chicago,” he said, but noted that they will be at the 2025 Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo in Rock Island, Illinois, on October 4.
To make sure that everyone was aware of the false alarm, NESPR’s Facebook account also shared a notice, writing: “It’s a Rumor… Annabelle has NOT been stolen. The doll is safely in place at the Warren Occult Museum.”
Surprisingly, the doll was thought to have disappeared before.
Actually, Ed and Lorrain Warren’s son-in-law, Tony Spera, had to clarify her whereabouts five years ago.
“I’m here to tell you something,” he said on the family’s YouTube channel in 2020. “I don’t know if you want to hear this or not, but Annabelle did not escape.”
“Annabelle’s here. She didn’t go anywhere. She didn’t take a trip. She didn’t fly first class and she didn’t go out to visit her boyfriend. I’d be concerned if Annabelle really did leave because she’s nothing to play with.”
There’s also a valid reason why it’s not an option if you believe you could just destroy the doll to make people stop being afraid of her.
“Getting rid of the doll would only get rid of the vessel, not the evil that resides within the doll,” Lorraine Warren, who passed away in 2019, clarified in 2014.
She added, “At least as it sits, we know where it resides. It isn’t out into the world causing harm to others. We have a Catholic priest who performs a binding prayer around the doll which acts as a blockade. The evil can’t penetrate the holy prayers that bind it. Think of it as similar to an electric-dog fence — keeping the dog within set boundaries.”
At least we know that she is now being held safely.
