Finally! Johnny Depp Is Returning To The Big Screen With This Movie
We all took the Depp Amber break up heavy, but finally things are starting to come together.
After a long absence on the big screen for obvious reasons, Johnny Depp is making a comeback. According to Hollywood Reporter, Depp will make his acting debut for the first time since the accusations of abusing his wife were leveled against him back in 2016.
The industry took the accusations between the conflicting parties Amber Heard and Johnny Depp seriously and Johnny hasn’t been involved in any movies nor TV shows since 2020, therefore destroying his whole career as an actor.
By the justice of the public eye, many petitions have been put out online since the claims rose, one in particular that gained more than 3 million signatures to have Amber removed from Aquaman 2.
After losing a libel claim against Amber Heard in the UK, Johnny Depp lost his leading role in Fantastic Beasts in 2020.
Warner Brothers, the gigantic film production company requested Johnny Depp to resign from his role. Depp wrote in a statement “My resolve remains strong and I intend to prove that the allegations against me are false”.
The road to his misery was not finished. As the ongoing legal battle between him and his wife got more eyes he severed his relations with Disney as his iconic character, Captain Jack Sparrow.
It was publicly announced that he will resign from his role as Cpt. Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6. Therefore, he was forced to resign from his leading role as the legendary pirate of the Seven Seas, and the irreverent trickster of the Caribbean. Furious because of their decision, he stated that he would never reprise his role as Jack Sparrow again “…there was a deep and distinct sense of feeling betrayed by the people that I’ve worked hard for,” he said during testimony with Heard’s lawyer.
Fans can’t wait for Depp to return on the big screen, which has emerged amid the highly publicized current case of the actor.
‘Louis XV’, the next film directed by Maiwenn, will see Depp take on the role of the French monarch in the role of Louis XIV, which is surely an exciting role for Johnny! According to Variety, the film will begin filming in France this summer, at locations such as the Versailles Palace and other famous Parisian monuments.
Fans are overjoyed that his voice of innocence is finally heard. “After this trial is over and Johnny Depp receives [the] justice he’s been denied, wait and see all the offers that begin to flood in. He’s so deserving of it because of the horror he’s been through and survived,” they say.
“We all will be watching his movies as soon as the theaters open up,” the fan added, while someone else wrote: “Finally, this is what we have waited for, for so long. We welcome Johnny with open arms. Always have done, always will do. So proud of him and proud his strength.”
