Elvis Presley Tried To Hire A Hit Man After He Found Out Priscilla Had A New Man

Although their marriage lasted barely five years, Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s romance lasted for decades.

In 1963, Priscilla relocated to Graceland, Elvis’ home. She and her ex-husband stayed friends until Elvis’ death in 1977.

Many have romanticized their relationship, but in reality, it was far from ideal.

They were both open about their extramarital affairs; Elvis, in particular, admitted to having a large number of women besides Priscilla. But when the singer found out Priscilla was seeing someone else behind his back, it appeared like all of that mattered.

According to Chris Hutchins, Priscilla’s friend, who spoke to The Express, the couple’s relationship started to decline long before they tied the knot.

Chris claims Priscilla once told him, “Elvis used to be kind, gentle and always attentive. But things changed long before our wedding day. I should have realized I was marrying an entourage and only had a share in its leader.”

Priscilla reportedly continued, “Graceland was the worst. It wasn’t a home, it was a carnival and I was one of the acts. I had to get out and become a woman in my own right.”

Priscilla detailed her husband’s jealousy of other men in her book, which she published years later.

When Elvis learned that Priscilla was seeing Mike Stone, he reacted extremely harshly, even though he had several affairs himself.

As Priscilla wrote, “Mike exuded confidence and style, as well as a good deal of personal charm and wit. A deep friendship would develop. I was confronted with the harsh realization that living the way I had for so long was very unnatural and detrimental to my well-being. My relationship with Mike had now developed into an affair.”

According to Chris Hutchins, Elvis informed his staff, “There’s too much pain in me… “after learning about Mike. “… Stone [must] die.”

Priscilla also confirmed the story, explaining, “At that time he wanted that to happen. It was talk, anger, talking out of emotion.”

According to Chris Hutchins, the plans were quite extensive, as it was later revealed that Elvis had instructed one of his crew to employ a hitman in order to perish Stone.

Fortunately, wiser counsel had prevailed.

Elvis’ attempts to meddle in Mike and Priscilla’s romance persisted following his divorce from Priscilla. “As Terry recalled, there was one problem. Their love-making was frequently interrupted by phone calls from Elvis who, although they had been divorced for two years, still rang her at all hours of the day and night.”
