Children Dubbed The ‘Little Rascals Bank Robbers’ Arrested For Heist At Texas Bank
After two of the young people’s parents turned them in, three teenagers who FBI Houston dubbed the “little rascals” were taken into custody.
The group initially gained attention on March 14 when the agency posted images to social media that seemed to be obtained from security camera footage. “Recognize these ‘little rascals’? they captioned the photo. “Believe it or not they just robbed the Wells Fargo at 10261 North Freeway.”
Moreover, the FBI requested assistance in identifying all three of them and urged anyone with information to get in touch with the police. TooFab has subsequently blurred the original photo since it was discovered that they were juveniles.
The agency later revealed on Tuesday that the three individuals were in jail and that they were charged with robbery by threat. They were 11, 12, and 16 years old.
The three allegedly delivered a “threatening” note to a bank teller and were thought to be armed, though they did not show a weapon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, which was contacted by ABC 13. The amount of money they took with them is unknown.

Two of the boys’ parents are believed to have come forward and identified their sons after the pictures were made public.
After a scuffle, the third child was apprehended and identified; a weapon and a “distinctive item” seen in the pictures were also found.
