A Beautiful Woman Caught In A Fire Burned Her Entire Face, But What The Husband Did After Is Breathtaking

The tragical story of Turia Pitt is heartbreaking and inspirational at the same time. A mining engineer has gone through hell and back during the past 11 years. While competing in an ultra-marathon in 2011, she was suddenly caught in a grassfire.

How she managed to survive is nearly a miracle. Sixty five percent of her body had severe burns. In the horrible incident she lost 7 fingers, undergone 200 medical procedures and spend two exhausting years in recovery.

In a situation like this one, the victim realizes who truly loves them for who they are in soul, not in body. You would think that her husband would leave her as soon as he saw her after the incident, but Michael was there by her side throughout the entire time. He never even considered leaving her. And 4 years after the incident in 2015, he proposed to her and the two got married.

“When Turia was in intensive care four years ago I bought a diamond ring,” Michael told the Daily Mail. Every single time he reminds her how beautiful she is.

Turia was really broken down in spirits after the incident. She was wearing a mask for two years so that her face healed faster.

She knew it before, but with that horrible test, she is grateful that she found out a man that truly loves her no matter what.

“Going to sleep next to my partner I never thought anything of before. Now I think how lucky am I get to sleep next to this beautiful man. He’s a good guy and I’m very lucky to have him,” Turia shared with the Daily Mail. “Every day I wake up beside Michael is a great day.”

Her story went viral on social media and many people from around the globe follow her journey after the incident.

In early 2017, they shared amazing news with the public. They were expecting a child, baby boy Hakavai, which was followed by another bundle of joy into their lives, son Rahiti Hoskin.

Today, they are wonderful family with 2 beautiful children and her story reminds us that there is always hope when true love is present.
