Mother Discovers Unauthorized Online Video of Her Breastfeeding – Her Response Goes Viral

An American woman was going about her day and using social media as she always does when she saw a video that stopped her in her tracks.
Izabele Lomax stopped to look at the video more closely, which proved what she already knew: it was a film of herself.
The post she found was actually a copy of one that had been made before. Someone caught Lomax breastfeeding in public and said they wished she had worn something over her while she did it.
Lomax saw the screenshot that was shared by a woman in a group for women who are breastfeeding. The picture was accompanied by the words, “Just pulled up my Facebook and was greeted with this, and I just cannot understand how another female can say this and take VIDEO of this momma feeding her baby and post it to the internet.”
Lomax felt the same way because she was the mother breastfeeding the child in the video. In her own words, “I was like, ‘That’s me!'” The young mother didn’t know she was being watched while she fed her baby.
The person who made and shared the video says they didn’t mean to make women feel bad for breastfeeding in public. They wrote, I’m shaming the woman who breastfeeds in public with no respect to cover themselves up.”
She told them she didn’t want to see topless women at the beach and didn’t want to cover her son’s eyes and tell him what the woman was doing.
The video showed Lomax nursing her baby while sitting on the beach under an umbrella. She had no idea that someone was recording her in secret.
But Lomax didn’t take it lying down. She chose to talk back to the woman who had filmed her without her permission.
Someone didn’t like the choices she made, so the day she had planned to spend at the beach with her fiancé, baby, and parents turned bad.
Lomax replied with her own video and post. “Not only did this woman walk past me multiple times with her son, you had every opportunity in the world to say something to me,” she said.
She said that the woman who secretly filmed her should have tried to talk to her before filming her without her knowledge. She would not have stopped breastfeeding her child at the beach.
Another thing she said was that the woman shouldn’t have made breastfeeding her four-year-old son seem sexual. Lomax thought the woman might have “her own set of issues” based on how she responded to the situation.
That angry young mother wrote, “If you have the time to take a video of me and make this joke of a Facebook post, you have the time to educate your son about the fact that babies are fed this way.”
A lot of people agreed with Lomax, and the person who first shared the video even took it down. People were shocked by what the woman did to “teach” a young mother who was breastfeeding. Someone wrote, “Who does this lady think needs protection? Kids? You just tell your kid, ‘That lady is feeding her baby.’ Then the kid asks some questions, and you answer and move on. You know, like parenting.”
Someone else said that the baby’s head covered up any bare skin that the original poster was worried about.
