You Might Never Go On A Cruise Again After Watching This Horrifying Passenger Film That Depicts The Realities Of Cruises At Night
For many people, cruises are the ideal vacation.
While some people only dream of taking one, others use the floating hotels each year to visit a variety of locations.
I mean, some people wind up living aboard cruise ships because they adore them that much.
And many of us have just developed a passion with cruises as a result of the abundance of cruise-related content available.
However, one passenger’s horrifying film depicting the reality of them at night may deter you from ever riding on one for life, whether you had that intention or not.
One TikToker posted a video of the water from someone’s balcony, demonstrating how hauntingly black it appears after dark.
Since there is nothing at all to view, I believe I am using the word “view” extremely loosely here. And I’m meaningless.
The video starts in a ship’s cabin, and @planetcruise uploaded it to YouTube Shorts. Everything essentially vanishes when they exit the doors and step out onto the small balcony.
The other side of the rail is completely dark, but as the camera pans back and forth, you can make out a neighboring balcony and a few lights from the ship’s upper deck.
You can’t even see the waves moving beneath the monstrous yacht, apart from the glint of the rare bit of light reflecting.
According to this film, “what it’s like being on a cruise at night” is exactly that—complete darkness with nothing to see.
And it becomes creepier the more you think about it. It would be unsettling to be unable to see where you are or what’s underneath you.
Responding to another TikTok of cruise ships at night, one user unnervingly pointed out: “Imagine falling overboard at night; you survive the fall. Nobody saw it. You see the ship leaving. You’re alone and see nothing.”
This then led to another slamming: “You cannot pay me enough to go on a cruise.”
Plenty of people have been put off cruising because of the darkness, while one eerily said: “Now imagine being on the Titanic with no moonlight.”
Although one did comment on the YouTube short: “I have been on deck 20. There is nothing to see except the massive screen and people dancing. Amazing, loved it.”
