This Crow Stares At A Stick, But 8 Moves Later Scientists Are Shocked Beyond Belief
The BirdLife Fact Sheet estimates the American crow population at around 31 million. The large range, current trend, and high overall population are why their IUCN conservation status is still Least Concern.
Crows may be among the most underrated animals. Now, a research shows insight into their soaring intelligence and surprising warmth, reports CBS News correspondent Ben Tracy.
When you compare it to our brain, they have teeny tiny brain the size of a thumb, but this video shows something that shocked scientists beyond belief…
Crows brain and intelligence allows them to solve complex problems.
The PBS series “Nature” showed an experiment where a crow was given a puzzle that involves 8 different pieces that the bird is able to see individually.
The crow is then shown all the pieces together in one area, and the bird has to figure out how to use all the pieces to retrieve a stick that can reach a piece of food.
This experiment shows that these birds have the capability to be smarter than some human beings!
