The Shocking Death Of Garrison Brown Who Was Found By His Brother Dead At Home
The terrible death of Garrison Brown, the son of patriarch Kody Brown and his wife Janelle Brown, who passed away at the age of 25, has left the Sister Wives family in shock.
Tuesday, Janelle posted the devastating news on Instagram, saying, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.”
She went on, “His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.” Kody posted the same message on his Instagram page as well.
The tragic discovery of Garrison, who was well-known for his roles on the hit TLC show, dead from a gunshot wound to the head by his brother Gabriel only served to further the already unstable relationships within the family.
In a statement to People at the time, Flagstaff Police Department Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II verified the tragic event, stating: “On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home. At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating.”
The network that produced Sister Wives, TLC, released a statement expressing their sympathies, saying, “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.
Viewers were able to see hints of the complexity of the relationships inside the Brown family thanks to Garrison’s appearance on Sister Wives. There remains a gap in the family after his untimely death, especially for Gabriel, with whom he was close.
After leaving the family home after a tense argument with his father about COVID laws and their strained relationship, Garrison has been living on his own. The already tense father-son relationship was made worse by Kody’s decision to kick his kid out of the house.
Kody’s remarks during a show episode indicated the possible beginning of their conflict: “When you’re twenty-one, karmically, I’ve given you all you need! You’ve got a good car. You go get a job. Here’s some cash. Bye!”
While Garrison thought back on their childhood, he said that he and his brother had grown closer since they had to rely on one another while their father wasn’t around.
The brothers never wavered in their support for one another, even in the face of their father’s absence and lack of interest. The fact that Garrison chose to follow his own path in spite of his father’s disapproval strengthened their relationship even more.
Last year’s tense relationship with their father finally resulted in different Thanksgiving celebrations. But despite everything going on, the brothers remained steadfast in their support of one another during difficult times.
After the untimely passing of Garrison, Gabriel is left to grieve and face life’s obstacles by himself.
