Steven Tyler New Photo On Beverly Hills Parking Garage After Health Battle Released
Steven Tyler was spotted this past Tuesday, December 3, in a Beverly Hills parking garage, carrying what looks to be an ice pack to his jaw and chin.
This was his first public appearance since leaving Aerosmith.
Due to a chronic vocal cord injury he suffered last year, Tyler abruptly left the iconic band in August of this year.
During what is now considered to be Aerosmith’s final concert at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, in September 2023, Tyler “sustained vocal cord damage that led to subsequent bleeding.”
In a statement announcing the band’s retirement from touring in August 2024, Aerosmtih revealed that Tyler “spent months tirelessly working on getting’ his four-octave tenor pipes to where they were before his injury. We’ve seen him struggling despite having the best medical team by his side. Sadly, it is clear that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision—as a band of brothers—to retire from the touring stage.”
Tyler is now preparing for the sixth annual “Jam for Janie,” a Grammy Awards viewing party presented by Tiffany Haddish and scheduled for February 2 at the Hollywood Palladium.
All earnings from the $3K to $100K tickets and tables will go to his charity, Janie’s Fund, which offers assistance to young women who have been abused or neglected.
