Can You Believe She’s 76? Soap Opera Icon Susan Lucci Looks Incredibly Youthful In New Portrait

Susan Lucci, an actress, appears to defy time.

The 76-year-old soap opera diva posted a close-up photo to Instagram on Tuesday, and she looked stunningly young.

The cover model looked fresh faced and radiant as she prepared for a day of “errands.”

The TV star, who lost her spouse Helmet Huber last year, was seen holding a cup of coffee while dressed casually in a beige cardigan, gold necklaces, and a St. Tropez tan.

This comes on the heels of her recent interview with People, in which she revealed that she had severe chest pains and nearly had a heart attack four years ago.

The updated photo showed her smiling broadly and radiantly.

‘Day of running errands—and meeting a friend for coffee—wearing my silver and gold “empower you heart” necklace by Tiary,’ she wrote in her caption.

The proceeds from the sale of the necklace will go to a worthy cause.

Lucci and Tiary have created a line of jewelry called Empower Your Heart to benefit the American Heart Association’s Life is Why Campaign.

Before the end of the year 2023, Tiary will give 25% of all proceeds to the American Heart Association’s Life is Why Campaign.

She revealed the four-year-old near-heart attack to People on Wednesday.

Furthermore, her healthy lifestyle left her dumbfounded.

‘My friends’ husbands looked at me and said, “We know what you eat. You order kale. We smoke and drink scotch. What about us?”‘ she said. ‘And they got tested!’

Lucci added, ‘I would hear that heart disease is the number one killer of women, but that went in one ear and out the other.’

The American Heart Association has appointed her as an ambassador.

‘But now I get it,’ she added. ‘Even my cardiologist said that to look at me, you’d never think I was a heart patient.’

Throughout the entirety of All My Children’s network run on ABC, from 1970 to 2011, Lucci is most well-known for playing Erica Kane.

The actress was asked about her dating status last week on Good Day New York in New York City.

However, the stunning woman answered, “Not yet,” before wiping away a tear from her cheek.

‘No, I’m not ready. It’s just 10 months,’ the Emmy-winning daytime TV actress said as she wore a form-fitting scarlet red dress.

In 1969, Lucci and Huber tied the knot and started a happy life together. The couple produced two offspring and a grandchild.

Huber passed away in March 2022 on Long Island, New York. He was eighty-four years old.

‘I miss him, and he’s worth missing. He was really, really the love of my life,’ she said as she sat in the studio.

The stunning woman then ranted about how he was loving, witty, smart, and gorgeous all while having a charming accent.

Her ‘tremendous loss’ since the March revelation of her husband’s death after 53 years of marriage has been a constant struggle.

‘Helmut’s passing is a tremendous loss for all who knew and loved him,’ a rep for the 75-year-old actress told People.

‘He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and friend. The family kindly asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult time.’

“[He was] a family man, a devoted friend, and [he] loved them passionately,” a family member’s representative said.

‘With a roaring sense of humor, larger-than-life personality, and a practical problem-solver, he lived his life to the fullest. Mr. Huber who formerly raced motorcycles in Austria was a first-rate skier, and avid golfer, belonging to the Garden City Golf Club and Westhampton Country Club.’

Huber, born in 1937, was recruited to compete for Austria. Instead, he trained at the Hotel Maria Theresia, which is conveniently located near four ski hills.

He subsequently attended L’Ecole Hoteliere in Lausanne, Switzerland to learn the ins and outs of the hotel industry. Fox News said he was the best student in his class.

At the age of 21, he made the journey to North America, where he began his professional life in Canada before relocating to New York City at the age of 23. In 1994, he completed the process to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Fox News claims that Huber learned English by watching John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart movies.

Susan, then 22 and fresh out of college, and Michael, then 32, met at their place of employment, the Garden City Hotel on Long Island.

Eventually, he became the CEO of Pine Valley Productions and Lucci’s manager.
