Other possible explosive devices were found in the French Quarter after more searches. Local law police and FBI bomb technicians collaborated to identify and eliminate any threats.
The attack, which was classified as a terrorist act, led to a thorough FBI investigation into Jabbar’s background, ties, and potential accomplices. To ascertain whether he acted alone or had ties to terrorist organizations, authorities are still following up on leads.
