Preston Ordone, Beloved ‘Okay Baby’ Viral Star, Tragically Passes Away
The influential parents of a toddler who went viral for his cute ‘OK’ videos are in separate hospitals recovering from severe injuries sustained in a horrific vehicle accident.
Millions of people know Preston Ordone as the “Okay Baby.” On April 24, his family’s Ford F-150 truck went off the road and crashed into a tree in rural Louisiana, killing him.
The tragic news was verified on social media by Louisiana State Police, who said the crash occurred in St. Tammany Parish, some 50 miles north of New Orleans, just before 11:50 a.m.
Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone, the toddler’s TikTok celebrity parents, were taken to several hospitals with severe injuries after surviving the terrible collision.
The police report states that Little Preston was “improperly restrained in a child safety seat in the back of the car.”
According to the Louisiana State Police report, “the driver and front passenger, who were both properly restrained, sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital.”
“Preston, who was seated in the rear, but improperly restrained in a child safety seat, also sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.”
The driver provided a standard toxicological sample for processing as part of the continuing investigation.

“Caitlin, Jaylen and Preston were involved in an accident.”
“We don’t know all the details yet, but their truck veered to the right off the interstate and struck a tree, and unfortunately, Preston didn’t make it,” she said in the video.
She also disclosed that Paisley, Preston’s seven-year-old sister, was thankfully spared from the collision.
At the time, she was enrolled in school. The car did not contain her.
“This is the hardest post we could possibly make, finding words is still so hard.. We hope that you can help our family in any way possible in this hard time,” she captioned the video on Katelynn’s TikTok account.
“It still feels so unreal… All your prayers, love and support is needed and appreciated. Thank you. #OkayBabyForever.”
The most recent information on the parents’ conditions was given in the video.
“Katelynn and Jalen are severely injured. Katelynn has multiple broken bones. She had a very bad concussion. She walked for the first time today.”
“Jalen had to have emergency surgery on one of his legs. He has rods in them, pins in them. They’re both at different hospitals.”
She recounted the tragic final moments of Preston’s life.
“Preston was removed from the vehicle, brought to the hospital, and they tried everything that they could.”
Videos of the cute youngster exclaiming “OK” before engaging in activities like splashing in mud puddles went viral and received millions of views, catapulting the lovely toddler to stardom.
