Married Teacher’s “Skin-Crawling” Messages To A 15-Year-Old Boy Are Revealed In New Texts

The recently disclosed texts display the alleged “skin-crawling” messages that a married instructor wrote to a 15-year-old boy.

Christina Formella, a 30-year-old soccer coach and special education teacher at Downers Grove South High School, was taken into custody on Sunday on one count of criminal s****l assault and two charges of aggravated criminal s**ual abuse.

Text messages from 2023 were discovered on Friday by the police, where Formella allegedly told the victim, “I love having s** with you,” to which the child replied, “I love you so so much, Mama.”

The then 28-year-old replied, “I love you sooooo much, baby… Even though this morning was short, it was perfect,”.

“I know baby was perfect, baby, so perfect,” the boy replied back, adding “I know, baby I love it so much … It feels so good … It’s so passionate … It’s so intimate … It’s so perfect,.”

After finding evidence that Formella had been involved in an illicit connection with her pupil that reportedly began when she molested him more than two years prior, the police checked the phone. An assault that began in December 2023 when she was tutoring him alone in a classroom and continued until the teenager put an end to it.

Police discovered messaging on her “Notes” app after she was taken into custody from her Chicago residence, which further suggested that she was having s** with a minor.

The app was an “outlet for her anxiety,” according to the former educator, and the s****l content was about her husband.

She also asserts that she is the victim of the boy’s “blackmail” and that she is being singled out due to her “good looks.”

The court documents read: “She claimed that one day, [the boy] had grabbed her phone unattended, had entered her passcode … had sent the message to his phone, had then deleted the message from her phone, and had saved it to his phone as blackmail,.”

“[Formella said] everybody comes after her because she is good-looking and she is just a good person who cared too much about [the boy].”

After purchasing a new phone for the child on Friday and accessing his iCloud account, the mother of the child found the text messages. That day, she brought her son to the police station to report the abuse.

In the past, Formella had posted pictures of herself and her spouse, who seem to have been married in August 2024. Together, the two participated in athletics at Concordia University.

After five years of employment at Downers Grove High School, she was subsequently put on paid leave.
