Lawmakers Reveal Their Honest One-Word Response To Donald Trump’s First Month In Office
Several senators have summed up Donald Trump’s slack executive order signing.
With Trump having approved hundreds of executive orders in the first week, let alone the first month, it would likely be easier to enumerate the things he hasn’t done than the things he has accomplished since taking office just one month ago.
Trump seems to be throwing everything at the wall, from declaring that there are “only two genders” to “ending radical and wasteful government diversity, equity, and inclusion” initiatives, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and continuing to attack the rights of undocumented migrants.

However, executive orders can be challenged; in fact, a little-known law has already temporarily stopped a number of Trump’s sign-offs.
However, a federal judge rejected a “final” attempt earlier this week to prevent Elon Musk, who was selected by Trump to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), from gaining access to private government information.
Additionally, on February 18, Trump signed an executive order that could make him one of the most powerful presidents in US history by bringing several independent agencies under White House control, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
What do politicians think of it all, though? In a special interview with the Mail Online, parliamentarians were asked to use one word to describe Trump’s first month in office.
Kevin Cramer, North Dakota’s junior US senator, adopted a more tactful stance, saying, “Active.”
Others, though, didn’t hold back when speaking.
‘Bold’ was a rather mild choice for Josh Hawley, the senior U.S. senator from Missouri.
Utah’s junior US senator, John Curtis, described the situation as “Aggressive.”
And Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa and the oldest current US senator, decided: “Hurricane.”
As everyone knows, hurricanes aren’t exactly enjoyable, are they?
Peter Welch, a junior US senator from Vermont, concluded that Trump had gone on a “illegal rampage” during his first month in office. He didn’t exactly keep to a single word, but we’ll overlook it. Chris Coons, a Democratic senator from Delaware, merely called it “terrible.”
How would you sum up Trump’s first month in office, then?
