Jane Fonda Has An Announcement To Make About Her Cancer Diagnosis
Jane Fonda is ecstatic about a recent development.
The 84-year-old actor and activist announced that her cancer is in remission on December 15. After receiving the “greatest birthday present ever,” Fonda, whose birthday is on December 21, posted about it on her blog and Instagram.
The oncologist told her last week that her cancer is in remission and that she can stop treatment. Feelings of great good fortune and good fortune, Fonda wrote.
She appreciates all the well-wishers and prayers. She is confident that it played a role in the good news.
She said she was especially relieved because while the first four rounds of chemotherapy were relatively painless and left her feeling tired for a few days, the fifth round was horrible and lasted two weeks, making it difficult to do much of anything.
In September, the “Grace and Frankie” star announced that she had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and had begun chemotherapy.
As an addition to her article, Fonda mentioned that after the side effects of her chemotherapy subsided, she went to Washington, D.C. to participate in her first Fire Drill Fridays event in person.
She then elaborated on her personal fight against climate change and gave some background on the topic’s current political climate. Fonda also encouraged people to contact their senators and demand that they vote against the so-called “Dirty Deal.”
She concluded by expressing gratitude to everyone involved and welcoming the well wishes. The holiday season be filled with happiness and good health, she added.
Fonda wrote on Instagram on September 2 after learning of her cancer diagnosis that she was “paying attention to the lessons it had to offer.”
It has already begun to instill in her the value of belonging to a group.
Increasing one’s social network so that one is no longer isolated. In addition, at nearly 85 years old, the disease and her advanced age highlight the significance of adjusting to new circumstances, she said.
When Fonda was younger, she was diagnosed with cancer. The star of “9 to 5” was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. As a result of the doctors’ efforts, the tumor was contained.
She also underwent surgery in 2018 to remove a malignant tumor from her lower lip.
She said she “is not afraid of going.” She said that she wasn’t afraid of death and that she was ready for it because she had a great life, but that she knew it was coming and that she didn’t want to go.
