If You Truly Commit To These 16 Rules They Will Shift Your Life 180 Degrees
It is often said that you come out strongest after you face a difficult or challenging situation in life.
People who get to a certain successful stage in their lives are mostly only appreciated if they have faced any challenged in getting there. Their stories are glorified on media and set as examples for those trying to follow in their shoes.
If you are one of those people trying to make it through, remember these things:
1. Don’t forget to smile. Even though this is a tough thing to do if you are in a tough spot, you must never forget your sense of humor or the fact that the bad situation is nothing more than a temporary phase in your life.
2. Cry if you want to. Don’t hold back your tears. The more you hold it in, the more resentful you will grow. Let them go as they come, you don’t have time to store negative emotions.
3. Dress up the way you feel comfortable in. Many people struggle every day with the idea of clothing, they often want to receive compliments and that’s what boosts their courage. But confidence is just as sexy. If you are yourself, people will love you nevertheless!
4. Stop living in fear. Face your fears and outgrow them. This is the only way you will get out of your comfort zone and you will be amazed when you do.
5. Get rid of the habit of lying. There is nothing such as a white lie even, so stop lying, even to yourself, that you are lying to prevent hurting someone. As they say, the truth will set you free.
6. Commit yourself to a to-do list. If you don’t, you will become a potato couch and wish you had made a list when you are on your death bed.
7. Rest, but don’t quit. It is a very easy thing to just quit when life doesn’t go the way you want it to. In situations like these, feel free to take a break to relax yourself and look at things from a more positive lens but don’t give up completely.
8. Let go of toxic relationships. Your definition of love will change with age and time and so will your relations with people. Don’t feel the unnecessary pressure to be in touch with people from which you don’t feel a positive vibe.
9. Do what you enjoy. In some situations, it is easier said than done but, if you try to overcome the obstacles and follow your heart, you will be so much happier in everyday life.
10. Know your worth. You have the power to decide how you shape your future so remember that and make sure other people know it as well. Don’t let anybody treat you any less than what you deserve.
11. Take the long way if it’s the right way. Shortcuts are for lazy bums anyways. Don’t be a potato couch and wait for things to happen on their own. Build your destiny and work your way up.

12. Be responsible for what you do. It is not easy to own up to your mistakes but realizing that the fault is no one else’s but yours will help you grow in a more humble manner and you will remember not to mess up again.
13. Listen to other people. Almost everyone thinks that they are right but it takes a lot of courage to look at things from another person’s perspective. And there is no shame in admitting that they might be right.
14. Spread kindness. Be kind to people even if they haven’t been kind to you. This will surprise them and make them want to be like you; have your patience and virtue.
15. Nothing is set in stone. If you mess up badly, time will pass and people will forget about it. Life moves on, just like that. If you feel badly about something, think about how to change it and never look back from there.
16. Step out of your comfort zone. Amazing things are bound to happen to you then. You will be surprised at where it will take you.
