Henry Winkler’s Theory Gains Support After “Disgusting” Arsonists Were Captured on Camera During LA Wildfires

Residents of Los Angeles are searching for answers and the people responsible for the destruction as a result of the grief and rage brought on by the wildfires.

Yesterday (January 8), actor Henry Winkler, who portrays “The Fonz” in the comedy Happy Days, swiftly responded to the query and ignited a viral discussion by expressing his belief that an arsonist was responsible for the catastrophe.

“There is an ARSONIST here in LA. May you be beaten unrecognizable!!! The pain you have caused!!!” the actor wrote on X, with the post going viral with more than 1.9 million views at the time of writing.

One group of internet users defended Winkler’s theory in the comment section, while another group dismissed it as the “ramblings of an old man.” The actor might be correct, though, based on fresh video footage that was released earlier today.

Actor Henry Winkler blamed the Los Angeles wildfires on arsonists, with later clips adding credence to his theory

“People are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning urban areas of LA,” the viral clip read, which surpassed Winkler’s tweet with more than 6.5 million views combined.

The video shows several individuals tossing combustible objects into a huge fire in Santa Monica, California, while others stare in shock as the flames grow larger and threaten to topple a few nearby tall trees.

“Stay safe and call in any activity ASAP. We don’t need more flames out here,” a retweet wrote.

The videos demonstrated the complexity of the flames occurring throughout Los Angeles, which appear to have multiple causes. For motives that are unclear, some citizens used the commotion to spread more mayhem.

“Disgusting. It feels like LA is under attack right now. Fires are everywhere. Stay safe!” a user wrote.

The unprecedented disaster has destroyed at least 1,100 homes and forced more than 100,000 people to evacuate

Los Angeles County reports that strong winds and dry weather were the cause of the flames that broke out last Tuesday, January 7, damaging at least 1,100 homes and killing roughly five people.

Officials have characterized the flames’ intensity as “devastating and terrifying.”

Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Sunset, and Lidia are the five primary areas that make up the tragedy. As of Thursday morning (January 9), the first and second were the largest, destroying 17,234 and 10,000 acres, respectively.

The Palisades fire was declared the “most destructive” in Los Angeles history by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, confirming the tragedy’s unparalleled character.

As the fires ravaged their neighborhoods, almost 100,000 people were forced to leave their homes and valuable belongings behind and evacuate. Official sources claim that there have been “significant” injuries, although no precise figure has been disclosed.

Authorities explained that the fires were the result of “weather whiplash,” combining the state’s dryness with fast winds

According to a preliminary report by insurance analysts at J.P. Morgan, the fires might cause damages of up to $10 billion, which would be comparable to the losses from the Camp Fire in 2018, California’s deadliest wildfire ever.

The 2018 tragedy claimed the lives of 85 individuals, damaged over 13,000 acres, and caused losses estimated at $15 billion.

According to the National Weather Service, the fires were caused by the “weather whiplash” that the state has been going through lately. Fast winds aid in the spread of the fires throughout the state, which alternates between periods of drought and intense rainfall.

Red flag alerts will be in force through Friday, December 10. Anthony Marrone, the fire chief for Los Angeles County, asked residents to put their health and safety first at this trying time.

The police and fire departments have responded and are likely to have caught the arsonists. Nevertheless, no other details about the identity of the offenders or their intentions have been made public.

Netizens expressed disbelief at the videos of arsonist causing extra chaos, calling for their immediate prosecution

“Arrest them all now,” one user said. “This feels like a third-world country.”

“Did you get the name of the person you saw lighting the fire? We need to know!” another asked.

“I can’t believe this! My heart is broken,” a netizen wrote. “This is so evil.”

“What’s with these arsonists? What are they trying to achieve?” another asked.

“More than 99% chance there are bad actors going around taking advantage of the chaos.”

“Vile and disgusting.” The clip led netizens to doubt that the fires had purely natural causes, with many believing arsonists may have played a part
