Heartbreaking Final Video Shows Ozzy Osbourne Happy & Smiling Weeks Before Death

Less than two weeks before he passed away, Ozzy Osbourne was seen on camera grinning and making jokes in a really endearing moment.

His family said Friday, July 22, that the Black Sabbath leader died’surrounded by affection’ at his UK mansion at the age of 76.

The founding members of Black Sabbath reunited for their final show in 20 years, barely 17 days after he had last performed on stage. However, the singer’s presence coincided with persistent health issues.

Although the cause of death has not yet been determined, Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and had a number of other medical concerns at the time of his passing.

Following a viral video last year in which she disclosed that her fiancé, Slipknot member Sid Wilson, had his face singed after an explosion, Kelly Osbourne, one of the Brummies’ six children, announced on TikTok on July 9 that she had become engaged to him.

Before Wilson speaks to their daughter, Sharon Osbourne, who was sitting next to her husband of forty-three years, is heard on the video saying, “You’ve got to be quiet, hold on.”

“Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world…” the 48-year-old remarked in front of a group of individuals who were later identified as their friends and relatives.

After that, Osbourne interrupts, teasingly saying, “F**k off you’re not marrying my daughter.”

As the audience erupted into laughter, Wilson continued: “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends… Kelly, will you marry me?”

In the background, Osbourne is seen grinning as he puts the ring on her finger.

Confirming Osbourne’s sad passing yesterday, a statement from the singer’s family read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

“We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Osbourne was at the vanguard of the heavy metal movement, a darker, more profound subgenre of hard rock that swept the globe in the 1960s and 1970s, following Black Sabbath’s founding in 1968.

He was a controversial character because of his dramatic stage presence, which included once biting off a bat’s head and dressing up as the Prince of Darkness.

However, he became much more well-known and admired throughout the world for his part in the reality show The Osbournes with Sharon, Kelly, and Jack.
