Greta Thunberg Claims She’s Been ‘abducted’ By Israeli Forces Again In Emotional Video

Greta Thunberg, a young activist who claims she has been “abducted” by Israel once more, and other activists have been prevented from entering Gaza.

In an effort to help those suffering due to the blockade imposed by Israeli soldiers, Thunberg has made several attempts to enter Gaza.

Amidst the ongoing conflict with Israel, claims of “widespread starvation, malnutrition, and disease” have surfaced in Gaza.

One in three people are going days without food, according to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), as officials express concerns about a “humanitarian catastrophe” in the war-torn region of the world.

According to the UN, since mid-July, hunger-related causes have claimed the lives of at least 16 children under the age of five.

Organizations have been working to send aid into Gaza to help the suffering Palestinians, keeping in mind the dire circumstances.

A Freedom Flotilla (FFC) boat that Greta Thunberg was on was seized earlier this year, and she was ‘kidnapped’ by Israeli authorities.

Despite her subsequent deportation, the 22-year-old has continued to try.

More than 40 boats and about 450 activists were sent to Gaza by the Global Sumud Flotilla with a symbolic quantity of humanitarian goods, but Israeli soldiers later boarded the boats and jailed dozens of those on board, including Thunberg and European parliamentarians.

The flotilla’s organizers reported that during a nighttime Israeli raid, at least 39 of their boats were intercepted or believed to have been intercepted.

Later, Israeli officials said that only one boat was still “at a distance” and that it would be stopped if it got close.

According to PA, the inmates also included Rima Hassan, a member of the European Parliament, and Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona.

In response to the vessels being halted, Thunberg posted a video to social media in which she claims to have been “abducted” and reiterates her demand for her release.

“My name is Greta Thunberg. I’m a citizen of Sweden,” she says. “If you are watching this video, I have been abducted and taken against my will by Israeli forces.”

She goes on: “Our humanitarian mission was non violent, and abiding by international law. Please tell my government to demand my and the others’ immediate release.”

According to a statement released by Israel’s Foreign Ministry today (October 3), four Italian nationals have already been deported.

It also claimed that everyone was “safe and in good health” and posted pictures of Thunberg and other prisoners.
