In the first part of the video, while participating in Oprah Winfrey’s “Master Class” series, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gives awe inspiring advice to people who’ve been fighting the silent killer: depression. Everyone who fights depression should look for help. They should and MUST reveal what they are struggling with. It makes no sense to keep the poison in you. Coming from someone who fought depression we have absolute zero chances of beating it once and for all if we keep it. Some of the happiest looking people on social media might fight the toughest inner battles, so make sure to be kind to everyone and offer a helping hand, even if it doesn’t look like they need one…
Dwayne says: “I found that, with depression, one of the most important things you could realize is that you’re not alone,” the actor/wrestler said in a YouTube video posted by Restless Motion. The first part of the video was originally taken by Oprah Winfrey’s OWN channel.
“You’re not the first to go through it; you’re not going to be the last to go through it. And oftentimes — it happens — you just feel like you’re alone. You feel like it’s only you. You’re in your bubble. And I wish I had someone at that time who could just pull me aside and [say], ‘Hey, it’s gonna be OK. It’ll be OK.’ So, I wish I knew that.”
The second part is a speech where The Rock explains he overcame tough struggles and poverty by making few mindset shifts that changed the whole game for him.
