We as humans are constantly struggling to find peace. We are always at war with negativity – be it in our surroundings or within us. Only a few special people till date have been able to find peace and meaning in their life. Dalai Lama is one of those spiritual leaders who not only has found peace but strives to make peace amongst everyone. He is the ambassador of the happiness and when you hear him give advice in the video, you will understand why!
For those of you who do not know who Dalai Lama is, he is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. He works towards establishment of inter-religious harmony and promotion of basic human rights, along with being an advocate for the welfare of the Tibetan people.
This video was captured when a group of women met His Holiness at his Dharamsala in HP, India. The questioning woman asked about dealing with negative emotions – something we all suffer almost all the time in modern times. When you listen to the advice he has to give, you will be left wondering – it was right in front of me the whole time, why didn’t I realize the root of my negative emotions earlier?
Let’s not break the suspense and reveal his advice just now. It is best you discover and reflect upon his words of wisdom yourself. However, here is a sneak-peek of what awaits you: self-centeredness and seeing things as they appear. It might be a bit difficult for some people to understand what is His Holiness getting at but once you do, you will know happiness, and you will know the way to fight through negative emotions.
It makes a lot of sense why Dalai Lama talks about the root of negative emotions in order to deal with them. Only when you watch the video will you come to realization what that way is.
Thanks to Dalai Lama for this incredible video! Make sure to follow him on Facebook for more!
