Chilling Simulation Shows How Cancer Takes Over The Body—Viewers Horrified
A YouTube video explains the horrifying facts of how cancer develops in the human body.
The simulation, created by Dr. Vinay Samuel Gaikwad, demonstrates how cellular mutation is the primary cause of this global disease that claims thousands of lives annually.
The American Cancer Society estimates that 618,120 cancer deaths and 2,041,910 new cancer cases will occur in the United States in 2025, despite the fact that overall cancer mortality rates have declined.
In the video, the narrator explained: “These mutations can cause the cells to grow and divide uncontrollably. As the mutated cells multiply, they can form a mass called a tumor.”
There are two types of tumours: benign and malignant. Benign tumours are non-cancerous and do not spread to other body tissues.
However, malignant lumps have the potential to spread into nearby organs, a process known as metastasis, which can be fatal.
“The exact cause of these genetic mutations is often not known, however, certain risk factors can increase the likelihood of developing cancer,” the speaker stated.
Some YouTube users found this scientific explanation too much to handle; one wrote, “So scary!”

Back in May, Dr. Paulien Moyaert posted an equally depressing simulation that illustrated how receiving a cancer diagnosis can result in death.
In his video, Dr. Moyaert explained how cancer can spread and cause organ failure. For example, if it spreads to the digestive tract, it can hinder food absorption and digestion.
Additionally, a tumour might prevent the expulsion of faeces, which can swiftly become lethal if surgery is not performed.
This grim simulation also showed how cancer can damage the pancreatic ducts, forcing the organ to ‘digest itself’ in a terrible way.
Thus, pancreatic cancer is regarded as one of the most excruciating and fatal cancers.
Patients who have lung cancer may die from asphyxiation if their bodies aren’t getting enough oxygen.
“Having cancer impairs immunity,” the explainer added. “And chemotherapy compounds the problem by suppressing the bone marrow – the factory where white blood cells are produced.”
The ‘infiltration of cancer cells’ is another way that chemotherapy might damage bone marrow.
“When cancer grows in the bone marrow, there will eventually be inadequate bone healthy bone marrow to make blood cells,” the simulation explained.
Anaemia, a decrease in white blood cells, which normally fight infection and keep bacteria under control, and a decrease in platelets, which hinders the body’s ability to regulate any irregular bleeding, are among the health consequences for damaged bone marrow.
The film also touched on cachexia, which is the “wasting” away that occurs when poisons generated by cancer cells impair appetite and food digestion.
This explains why a lot of cancer patients lose weight and muscular mass quickly.
It stated: “Cachexia is estimated to occur in 50 percent of all cancer patients and is thought to directly cause up to 30 percent of cancer deaths because of heart of respiratory failure related to muscle loss.”
Additionally, it is responsible for up to 80% of mortality in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer and 50% of deaths in individuals with gastrointestinal tract tumours.
For “a long time,” treatment can keep the cancer under control, but if it keeps growing, “it can become too much for the body to cope with.”
