UPDATE: Kate Middleton Appeared In A New Video, Exposed She Has Cancer

Kate Middleton revealed she has cancer.

In a sad video message on Friday, the Princess of Wales shared the news.

Middleton said that when she had surgery on her abdomen, doctors thought her condition wasn’t dangerous, but tests done after the surgery showed that it was.

Kate, 42, said in the video, “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.”

The type of cancer Middleton has not been revealed, but she did say that she began “preventative chemotherapy” in February.

Two weeks ago, Kate Middleton made a significant decision during her tragic cancer struggle.

The terrible truth about Kate Middleton’s unexplained stomach surgery in January has now surfaced, along with the extended recuperation period that followed.

The Princess of Wales herself announced her cancer diagnosis in an emotional video that she released on Friday night.

The shocking revelation comes after two months of damaging rumors and wild speculation that Kate and the Royal Family have been unable to steer clear of, despite their best efforts. When Kate revealed the tragic reason she had been out of the spotlight for so long late last week, the people responded with an overwhelming amount of love and support.

The Princess revealed in her frank video that she needed time to heal from her operation before starting “preventative chemotherapy.”

“This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” the 42-year-old added.

It has now been made public that Kate decided two weeks ago to discuss her diagnosis in public after the controversy surrounding the “self-edited” photo that was made public in time for Mother’s Day in the UK.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate had always planned to reveal her news to the public just after her kids’ school let out for Easter, which was last Friday.

According to the same story, the Princess started a round of chemotherapy late last month and is currently on what has been referred to as a “recovery pathway.”

The Sun newspaper’s editor, Victoria Newton, stated on BBC1’s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg that Kate purposefully timed her video to coincide with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis’ last day of classes.

“It was actually, I understand, that the princess made the decision two weeks ago that she as going to do this public statement,” Newton said.

“The key thing for her as a mother, the priority was protecting those three children.

“She didn’t want them going to school, being asked even more than they already were.

“They were already being affected at school, so it was always her plan that she would wait until the last day of term.

“Obviously they’ve endured an incredible amount of social media speculation which has been really hard for them to handle, but the priority for her was always those children.”

In her video message, Kate admitted that she needed more time to fully explain things to her kids. “Most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be okay,” Kate stated.

As of this writing, neither the type nor the stage of Kate’s cancer has been officially confirmed by the Palace.

At this extremely trying time, we are sending Kate Middleton our best wishes and prayers.
