Before His Death, Alain Delon, Who Spent Years In Seclusion, Asked For Just One Thing Before He Passed

Prior to his passing, the actor had a lavish existence that stood in stark contrast to his peaceful life. His children and a large number of devoted fans survive him.

Once regarded as one of the most attractive men on the planet, this French actor was not afraid to own up to his stunning looks despite living in the limelight of Hollywood.

After sadly having a stroke in 2019, the “Flic Story” artist, who was conscious of how “handsome” he was, led a lonely life at his house. This happened a few weeks following his honorary Palme d’Or acceptance in Cannes, France.

The estate known as La Brûlerie was a large one, spanning 1.4 miles (2.3 km) behind a magnificent stone wall. It is situated in the central French department of Loreit, close to Douchy-Montcorbon town, 140 kilometers (86.99 mi) southeast of Paris.

Sources claim that it was more than simply his house; the movie icon wanted to be buried there, next to a chapel in a cemetery he constructed. More than thirty of his cherished dogs are buried in this cemetery as well.

Despite having France as his home base, rumors have it that the recluse used to alternate between his office in Paris, his Geneva apartment, and his Douchy residence.

The French sensation has been handling a tense family matter in addition to deciding on his final resting place. His three children ended up at odds with one another.

All because of their father and his possessions, his two sons and daughter engaged in public arguments, leveled charges, and pursued legal actions. The media paid close attention to the actor’s children because of how widely known their arguments had been.

So much so that their dad’s lawyer, Christophe Ayela, once attempted to foster a truce between them. “It has to stop and everyone needs to calm down. That’s enough now,” chastised Christophe.

The “Purple Noon” actor, whose children acknowledged that he was aware of their argument, added a further level of complexity to the familial conflict by making it quite evident that he had a favorite child.

“I have a daughter who is the love of my life, perhaps a little too much with regard to the others,” he has previously admitted.

“To no other woman have I so often said I love you,” he professed in 2008. Based on these statements and other observations, eagle-eyed spectators suggest that perhaps the father’s strained relationship with his sons, who are also both actors, stemmed from him viewing them as rivals.

The actress’s kid had made no secret of her intense affection for her father, just like her devoted father. She once shared a heartfelt homage to him on Instagram, keeping his followers informed about the actor’s health at the same time.

Alongside a picture of her dad, she penned a heartfelt message written in French. The English translation of that caption reads, “Friday morning I took a picture of my dad. For me. A memory of our times. Having breakfast with him makes me feel endlessly grateful. Unique moment of sweetness.”

She then went on to describe his appearance, calling him “handsome,” and highlighting his “vivid” and “fighting” spirit. “My own immortal,” she wrote.

“I showed him the picture… I asked him if I could share it with you, his audience that cares about him. So with his permission, there it is. And to your worries, he answers: ‘Don’t worry.’ ❤️ #love,” the actor’s daughter finished.

It’s none other than Alain Delon, the legendary French casanova about whom admirers had been worrying and who had been leading a secluded life. Following his daughter Anouchka Delon on Instagram, supporters of Alain flocked to the comment area to share their thoughts.

“He is beautiful and lovely as always, please be [by] his side, he needs you more than anyone, I know you love your daddy, and care [about] him too much 😘😘😘,” gushed a fan. Similarly, fellow French actor, Gilles Marini, expressed, “Stay close. ❤️ Full of love. Nothing else matter. ❤️❤️.”

Anouchka had not been on the same page with her brothers, Anthony and Alain-Fabien Delon, but they had promised to look out for their father’s financial and medical needs.

An earlier story this year said that Alain’s children banded together in March to demand that their father be placed under a “reinforced curatorship.” Alain was already under judicial protection for “medical monitoring” when this action was taken.

The report indicates that their request was granted as of April 4, 2024. This meant that a curator who would serve as Alain’s financial overseer and representative would take care of his assets and, in some cases, his medical needs.

Nobody has confirmed the identity of this curator as of yet. It’s unclear if it will be Hiromi Rollin—who the news source called Alain’s “lady in waiting”—or one of his children.

Another concern was what would happen to Alain’s business, Alain Delon International Diffusion SA, of which he was the President and Anouchka the Vice president. As soon as the curatorship request was approved, Alain would no longer be able to make judgments in that role.

Nevertheless, Alain concentrated on living his life rather than worrying about the specifics. He revealed in a 2021 interview that he wanted to make one last film, which he was sure would be his best to date.

Closing off the interview, the “Borsalino” star disclosed, “In my life, what I loved most was being Alain Delon, the actor Alain Delon.”

“Look at Rocco [and his brothers], look at Purple Noon! The women were all obsessed with me. From when I was 18 until when I was 50,” Alain previously said of himself as an alluring actor.

During an outing with a friend to Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the ’50s, Alain reportedly first noticed the effect he had on women. “I realised that everyone was looking at me. Women became my motivation. I owe them everything. They were the ones who inspired me to look better than anyone else,” stated Alain.

Alain made it his priority to “look better than anyone else” so much so that he took the title of the “most seductive man in cinema” at 25 years old and was even deemed the male version of Brigitte Bardot. The French icon, Brigitte, is well-known as one of the biggest “It” girls in cinematic history.

Her famous roles in many silver-screen movies have earned her recognition and admiration. Playboy, a popular platform for showcasing stunning celebrities, had elevated the French blonde beauty to the top of the list of the 20th century’s most attractive female stars.

Even some media outlets regard her as the greatest “It” girl of all time. In addition to her attractive appearance, Brigitte is well-known for her pouty lips. She ranked fourth on Playboy’s list of the sexiest female stars.

Her seductive confidence and alluring personality also earned her the title of most watched star in her native nation. In addition to her accomplishments as an actor and in general entertainment, Brigitte has developed a strong reputation as an enthusiastic supporter of animal rights.

Regarding her private life, the well-liked celebrity, also known by her stage moniker BB, is a mother of one child and has been married to Bernard d’Ormale for 31 years. Media sources claim that the pair married in secret in August 1992, inviting just a small number of friends to share in their big day.

Since then, the couple has been happily married. When Brigitte and Bernard got married for the first time, acquaintances of the “Contempt” singer informed a news outlet that the abrupt and covert marriage had made her happier than she had been in a long time.

It’s interesting to note that Brigitte’s friends weren’t sure she would get married again after her first spouse died. Nevertheless, the couple was married in a tiny, wooden church in Norway and shared Brigitte’s opulent, ten-bedroom house in Saint-Tropez.

Bernard has supported Brigitte ever since they first met, particularly during her health problems. Brigitte’s knight in shining armor promptly reassured the extremely alarmed audience that she was okay when French tabloids first revealed that their adored celebrity had supposedly overdosed on sedatives in 1992 while at home.

He said, “Brigitte was overcome with fatigue and took too much medication to go to sleep…she did not have her stomach pumped and was fine after a few hours.”

Bernard’s claim that his wife was okay was further corroborated by a representative for the clinic where Brigitte was brought. Years after her sedative scare, Brigitte was confronted with yet another health issue.

Bernard stated earlier this year that Brigitte had trouble breathing. Fortunately, first responders came to her aid right away, gave her oxygen, and stayed with her to make sure everything was alright.

Bernard gave an explanation of his wife’s respiratory issues, blaming age and weather-related factors, including an intense heatwave that was then sweeping through Europe. It seems that their La Madrague home’s air conditioning system was not operating at its best.

Despite assuring the public of Brigitte’s wellbeing, a news outlet alleged that she had stayed in the ICU. However, the “A Very Private Affair” talent set the record straight via a handwritten note: “I want to reassure everyone. I am doing very well. The press caused a scandal with an illness that happened to me.”
