Little House On The Prairie Actress Karen Grassle Is 80 Years Old And How She Looks? Wow!

The classic TV show “Little House on the Prairie” was one of a kind; the show was viewed by millions around the globe.

For those of you that haven’t seen it, Little House on the Prairie is an American Western historical drama television series, starring Michael Landon, Melissa Gilbert, Karen Grassle, and Melissa Sue Anderson, about a family living on a farm in Plum Creek near Walnut Grove, Minnesota, in the 1870s, 1880s, and 1890s.

Kraen Grassle was the mom of the family, or famous as “Ma” worldwide. She is 80 today and still rocking the scene!

Playing Caroline Lake Quiner Ingalls was “THE” roll that spiked her fame, but it seemed that she disappeared after playing one of the most iconic “Ma’s” in TV history.

The actress left our screens, but not the acting scene! She returned to Broadway, a passion she fell in love while studying acting in London.

“That was one of the most exciting learning experiences of my life: the school was superb and we could go to the theater in London and see the finest actors and productions in the English language,” Karen said, according to apost.com.

After appearing in a number of stage shows she auditioned for and a movie part she didn’t get, she went on to audition for “Little House on the Prairie”, and she nailed it.

Fast froward, Karen left the show in 1982, but producers tried to continue with just the Ingalls children. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out quite well without the whole family and they canceled the show.

After she left Karen returned to Broadway, the love she longed for since college.

Performing in stage classics such as “Cabaret” and “Driving Miss Daisy” she returned to the screens in 1994 in the movie “Wyatt Earp”, starring Kevin Costner.

When she was 75 she decided to take part in a horror movie called “Lasso” which she was unsure about at first.

“Finally, my son tells me, “Oh just do it, Mom. You’ll have fun! You’ll run screaming in the night!” So, I said, “Okay, I’ll do it.” It’s a total change for me,” she told Dread Central.

Karen Grassle starred in the film “Not To Forget”, a story about a Kentucky grandmother with Alzheimer’s and her juvenile grandson. The movie is rated 4.9 on IMDB.

We are so happy to see some people age like a fine wine.
