A Mother Dies With Her Baby Inside, But Her Husband Did Something Unbelievable That Changed Everything
When Melanie became pregnant with her second child everything was normal and calm, but as soon as she went into labor everything changed for the worse. She started turning blue and the doctors pronounced her dead, but her husband did something unbelievable.
Doug and Melanie were happy beyond measure found out they were having a girl, and they were looking forward to giving their son a little sister he’d always wanted.
Most nights Doug and his son would took turns to listen to the baby kicking. As labor approached in week 39, something unexpected happen.
That morning Melanie started having minor contractions. Since it was nothing serious, as she had experience with her previous child, they were on the way to the hospital, happy and laughing all the way. When her contractions increased, the doctor broke her water, and that’s when everything change for the worse.
Melanie complained of feeling nauseous, weak and dizzy, but there were no indications that something was wrong, until they realized how wrong they were…
Right in front of the doctors, Melanie closed her eyes and collaped. Her blood pressure dropped to zero and her heart rate slowed. She then turned blue and could no longer breathe.
This was worse case scenario for the unborn baby. Her vital signs began to drop and things got out of control. They started running test and a scan showed that she was suffering from an amniotic fluid embolism, a very rare allergic reaction in which amniotic fluid enters the mother’s bloodstream and this causes the heart and lungs to shut down.
While in the operating room her condition worsened and the doctors pronounced her dead, but they still wanted to save the baby. Her husband, powerless to affect the situation, started praying.
