A Detail On Christmas Photo Of Astronauts Stranded On The International Space Station Has People Losing Their Minds

Everyone is pondering the same question after seeing a Christmas snapshot of the NASA astronauts who will be stranded on the ISS till next year.

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams have been stranded in space since June of this year, so it has been a while.

The two were originally only scheduled to spend eight days on their maiden voyage to the ISS, but due to concerns about the safety of their vessel, their stay was extended to eight months.

This was then improved much more, and the two are unsure of their return date.

They are now waiting for help after NASA returned their Starliner capsule empty in September.

They keep providing updates on their health and how they’re adjusting to life in space thus far in the interim.

People are concentrating on a small element in their most recent snapshot, even though followers have long expressed their displeasure with their weight reduction and appearance.

The problem?

Well, they were able to obtain Christmas decorations because it was Christmas.

Out in space…

I’m not the smartest person alive, but how in the world can someone buy Christmas hats from somewhere else?

Perhaps there are some stores on the ISS that I haven’t heard about yet.

In any case, questions were raised by others who saw their most recent photo of the two astronauts wearing Santa hats and Suni donning a reindeer headband.

One X user wrote: “Who delivered the Christmas hats and decorations??”

“So…u thought far enough in advance to pack them when extra space in the capsule is at a very high premium?? hmmm.”

Another added: “Just curious how they’re still alive with 8 days of food and Christmas decorations?”

A third said: “How much did it cost to send up Christmas hats?”

But now that enough people are doubting it, the commander, Nick Hague, who was present in the picture, has disclosed how they obtained their Christmas supplies.

According to the Daily Mail, he shared: “There’s no last-minute dash to the mall to get gifts on @SpaceSation.”

“A team of elves had to pack up these gifts 6 months ago!”

Santa is real, then.

Just over a week has passed since a significant update on Suni and Butch’s chances of returning home early next year.

NASA has stated that the rescue mission has been postponed by at least a month because SpaceX needs more time to prepare their new Dragon capsule, even though the astronauts were supposed to return by the end of February.

It will launch in March rather than February to the International Space Station.

“Fabrication, assembly, testing, and final integration of a new spacecraft is a painstaking endeavor that requires great attention to detail,” Steve Sitch of NASA said.

“We appreciate the hard work by the SpaceX team to expand the Dragon fleet in support of our missions and the flexibility of the station programme and expedition crews as we work together to complete the new capsule’s readiness for flight.”
