Rescue Team Saving This Lonely And Abandoned Dog Will Return Your Faith In Humanity

Hurricane Florence was a powerful and long-lived Cape Verde hurricane that caused catastrophic damage in the Carolinas in September 2018, primarily as a result of freshwater flooding.

Not only people were severely affected by the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Florence, but also poor, helpless animals were left behind in the frantic battle for rescue.

In particular, this poor dog was trapped on the porch, and the water was keeping him stuck on few square meters. In the video below you can see the dog petrified face when the rescue team is arriving at the scene. Dogs are mens best friend, and we all know that. It was just heartbreaking to see this dog left on the porch, but we got our faith in humanity restored when the boys from PETA arrived at the scene to rescue the lovely dog.

When the guys approached the porch, the dog was petrified and happy at the same time. But when the dog approached one of the guys, it was an instant relief for the dog, as it felt the safety and comfort from the rescuers.

After the rescue, the dog was taken to an emergency area for rescued animals!.

PETA wrote on the caption:

“RESCUED! PETA’s rescue team spotted this scared and abandoned dog in Lumberton, North Carolina on the porch of a flooded home with no way to escape the rising HurricaneFlorence flood waters and were able to bring him to safety.”

We should all appreciate these people a lot more, because they return our faith in humanity on a daily basis.
