Elon Musk Reveals How He Sees The Future Of Humanity, And It’s Remarkable
There have been innumerable attempts at finding life-sustaining cues on Mars. Numerous scientists and astronomers have played their part in making each mission successful. The question remains: Why is that we are so interested in exploring possible life forms on other planets? Elon Musk shares his views on TED.
If you are interested in SpaceX or ever watched it, you would know who Elon Musk is: an entrepreneur taking his love for celestial beings and technology to practicality. He is the co-founder of PayPal and SpaceX along with being the Chairman of Tesla and SolarCity. It should come as no surprise that he yearns to live on Mars! Why though? Not to be a spoiler, let’s just say that Elon finds it saddening how we do not see living on Mars in future. According to him, future holds extreme probabilities which are effected by the actions we take – either to accelerate those probabilities or decelerate. The gist of his entire argument is that we should look beyond the Earth and explore the opportunities lying ahead of us. He thinks it is depressing to vision a future where we are not living amongst the stars and are not a multi-planet species. He has his own vision of future!
There might be some of us who agree with him and some who do not even understand what he is trying to say. However, one of his points seem very valid and understandable to everyone: technology does not automatically improve, there are people who work tirelessly to make breakthroughs and enhance it continually. If anything, it is degrade automatically. He puts forward quite convincing examples of civilizations to prove his point.
Elon is a genius and there is no denying that. He is sharp, smart and an innovator. His talk will seem very realistic and meaningful if you share the same set of beliefs.
