Trump’s Alleged Threat To Bomb Moscow—Russia Responds To Leaked Audio
Russia has responded to reports that Donald Trump threatened Vladimir Putin with a big attack.
There has been a lot of worldwide controversy about new recordings of President Donald Trump addressing contributors in 2024.
Before winning a second term as president, Trump was reportedly addressing a group of affluent contributors at an event, according to a CNN report.
He explained to them how, in the past, he had been extremely strict with Russian President Vladimir Putin for his invasion of Ukraine.
In the recording, Trump reportedly said, “With Putin I said, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. I’m telling you I have no choice.”
“And then [Putin] goes, like, ‘I don’t believe you.’ But he believed me 10%.”

Then, Trump purportedly said that he said the same thing about Chinese President Xi Jinping, warning him that Beijing would be blasted if the country invaded Taiwan.
According to CNN, the audio recordings were from fundraisers in Florida and New York. Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager, and Isaac Arnsdorf later acquired the recordings and described some of the conversations in their new book, 2024.
The manner and timing of these purported discussions with the leaders are unclear, though.
However, in a statement addressing this, Russia has now denied these allegations.
The spokesman for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov, said, “The fact is that there were no telephone conversations then.”
“After all, we are talking, as far as I understand, about the period when Trump was not yet the president of the United States.”
This purported chat was made public after Trump recently expressed his frustration with the Russian leader.
Following a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, July 8, Trump addressed the media and voiced his ire at Putin for the thousands of Ukrainian warriors who have died.
He said, “I’m not happy with Putin. I can tell you that much right now.”
“We get a lot of bulls*** thrown at us by Putin … He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”
Additionally, Trump made it clear that he was thinking about passing a second bill that would further punish Russia.
Trump added that he had authorised the transfer of additional US weapons to Ukraine in their conflict with Russia.
In response, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that swift action was necessary to safeguard the country and its citizens.
