A Health Specialist Says That If You Fail A Simple Test That You Can Complete At Home, “You Will Die Early”

It turns out there’s a quick test you can take to get a sense of whether you might pass away earlier than your colleagues, if you were thinking about that.

Although this activity may not be the most upbeat, the good news is that you can do it in the comfort of your own home, so there’s really no reason not to give it a try, guys.

A long and happy life, according to nutrition expert Ed Jones, founder of Nutrition World, a health firm, is all about harnessing the ‘force of natural health’.

He is a professional member of the American Botanical Council, which promotes using herbs and medicinal plants to assist people in taking care of themselves, and he is a fervent supporter of holistic health.

All things considered, he’s a real genius when it comes to caring for your body as naturally as possible.

In a segment of his Nutrition World Podcast, co-hosted by his daughter Cady Kuhlman, the specialist discussed a tip he picked up from renowned longevity physician Dr. Peter Attia.

The physician is well-known for his work in the area; in 2014, he established a private clinic devoted to helping patients live longer lives.

Jones also seems to think highly of Dr. Attia because he is constantly sharing his knowledge about how a healthy diet and regular exercise can help people live longer.

The one and only Chris Hemsworth agrees, as Dr. Attia, his medical colleague on the Disney Plus documentary series Limitless, looked into whether changing one’s lifestyle may delay death.

Now that you are aware that he has the endorsement of the A-list, let’s get started.

When talking about Dr. Attia’s mortality test, Jones revealed that his colleague in the field of nutrition feels that a stronger body lasts longer, meaning that a weaker individual would be more likely to die young.

Speaking on the Nutrition World Podcast, the health expert said that there is a straightforward test known as “grip strength” that “doctors never ask about” but that may indicate you’re headed for an early grave.

He explained: “If you can’t hold a dumbbell that’s 3/4ths of your weight for one minute, you will die earlier than you would if you were stronger. That beats cholesterol, it beats every blood test.”

“How many health professionals have asked you that? None, none.”

He elaborated by saying that a person’s grip strength serves as a “marker for how everything else will weaken.”

“Everything,” Jones continued. “Your heart, every system of your body.”

“If you can do this with the right weights, everything else is stronger. The stronger and more resilient body ages slower and has less disease.”

Those who are unable to do so might want to work on building some strength up to turn the tables, he explained.

This theory is supported by several studies, which show that those with stronger tendencies are less likely to die from fatal illnesses as well as cardiovascular and pulmonary problems.

However, there’s no harm in trying the grip strength test even if you’re not confident it will produce any reliable findings, is there?

Get out your dumbbells, folks!
