Travis Kelce Has Spent About $8 Million Since Dating Taylor Swift
While dating Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce has spent millions of dollars. Love doesn’t cost anything, but while Travis has opened up his heart, he wasn’t afraid to open up his wallet as well!
Since he started dating the pop star in July 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is said to have spent more than $8 million on his new home, travel, gifts, and other things.
A lifestyle expert in pop culture told the New York Post on Tuesday, March 19, “Travis Kelce always comes to play — not just on the field, but in his everyday romance with Taylor Swift — sparing no expense. He isn’t afraid to open his heart and his wallet.”
The Post said Travis, 34, has spent about $8,232,229 on Taylor, 34, while they’ve been together. In October 2023, he bought a $6 million home in Kansas City, Missouri, because he wanted to protect his privacy after his relationship with the singer became public. On February 12, his brother Jason Kelce stated that this was the reason for the move on “The Big Podcast With Shaq.”
“[Travis] had to completely move out of his house. People were just staying by his house,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center said. “I mean [for] safety reasons, [he had to move.] And the first day he moved into the new house … [in] a gated community, somebody knocks on the back window of the house.”
Travis’s new home has more than 16,000 square feet, six bedrooms, and six bathrooms. It is in a gated neighborhood. It has a swimming pool, a waterfall, and a small golf course as well.
Celebrity Net Worth says the NFL star’s estimated net worth is $50 million and his yearly salary is $14 million. He’s also probably spent a lot of money on travel, since he’s flown to and from four of Taylor’s shows in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore. Experts in aviation told the Post that these trips on private jets could cost at least $300,000.
Travis has also shown Taylor how much he loves her by giving her expensive gifts and taking her on expensive trips. He is said to have spent $1 million on Taylor’s Super Bowl LVIII room, which she shared with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, as well as friends and Travis’ family members on February 11.
Travis joked on his and Jason’s show “New Heights” at the time that he was “counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come.”
“Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” he added.
From bling to other things, Travis is said to have spent more than $22,000 so far. He is said to have spent $16,000 on Valentine’s Day alone on a Hermès scarf, handmade “TNT” bracelets made to match, a Bottega Veneta bag, a 24-karat gold rose sculpture, and other things.
