Off The Record
Dunkin Donuts Has THE Best Super Bowl Commercial Yet, And It’s Hilarious
Many people look forward to the ads. Also, one of the most famous and funny ones this year starred Tom Brady, Ben Affleck’s longtime friend and fellow Bostonian Matt Damon, and Brady himself.
Or, what do you think? Wasn’t the Dunkin’ ad funny?
There are many memorable ads that run during the Super Bowl, but this year’s Dunkin’ Donuts ad has quickly become a fan favorite.
The ads that have been shown during this year’s Super Bowl have mostly been pretty dull. But Dunkin’ Donuts’ ad in the second quarter saved the day.
The company made a funny scene where Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, and Matt Damon walk into Jennifer Lopez’s recording studio out of the blue.
After a lively dance routine, Affleck and Damon showed off their comedy skills by asking, “How about those donuts?” —a great nod to the famous line he said in Good Will Hunting.
In many ways, it was the perfect advertisement. It had visits from famous people and big names, which really made the ad better.
