Lycopene is the powerful anti-cancer agent that obstructs angiogenesis, which is present in tomatoes, Harvard University states. The risk of prostrate cancer decreases when tomatoes are eaten, and almost by half! This, incidentally, takes place when the tomatoes are heated up, which leads to the increased concentration of lycopene. So, the next time you go to a restaurant, don’t forget to order tomato soup.
6. Green Tea
A lot of people drink Green tea because of the many benefits it contains, but it is also said that this too prevents cancer!
Besides the much needed energy boost that this beverage gives us throughout the day and especially in the mornings, it also prevents cancer. So from now on, make sure to never skip your daily cup of coffee!
Cancer is dangerous, but not always fatal. With correct measures, it can be stopped, and even cured. It just takes correct knowledge, and the will power to apply so.
