An 11-Year-Old Boy Rang His Neighbor’s Doorbell In Floods Of Tears, And His Heartbreaking Words Are Too Much To Handle

A touching video have been captured on film by a doorbell camera in Amarillo, Texas, and have since gone viral.

Eleven-year-old Shayden Walker set out to meet new people and establish friends.

The simple act of ringing a neighbor’s doorbell would transform his life and encourage others to treat strangers with kindness.

As he stands on the Rays’ front porch, Shayden can be heard asking, “I was wanting to see if you knew any kids around 11 or 12 maybe cause I need some friends real bad.”

While staying with his grandparents, Shayden went next door to inquire about any young relatives the family might have. They didn’t, unfortunately.

However, the 11-year-old was alerted by Brennan Ray, who posted the doorbell video to TikTok, that there were kids his age living next door.

“Well, they’re not my friends anymore because they’re bullies to me,” Shayden replied.

Nearly 70 million people have seen the video since Ray uploaded it to TikTok.

Mother Krishna Patterson says her son Shayden’s confidence has skyrocketed.

“He flaps his arms and makes noises that a lot of people have made fun of him, so he told me, ‘I just deal with the pain of holding it in, so I don’t get made fun of because of it,’ and that hurt, that broke my heart,” she said.

“What my life was like before was kids were manipulating me and telling me they would be my friend, but when they would ask me to do something horrible, I don’t feel like they’re actually my friend,” Shayden added.

Ray uploaded footage from his doorbell camera to TikTok and then started a GoFundMe to help Shayden, eventually raising about $40,000. This young man’s

“It just takes one person, especially if you’re a popular kid, people look up to you, if you can be the one to stand out and help somebody else, set that trend, make that the trend to be set to not be a bully,” Ray said.

This video moved me to tears. When I hear about youngsters being cruel to one another, it makes me sad. Bullying must stop immediately.
