World’s Richest Family Worth $470 Billion Own 7 Major Sports Teams Around The Globe
The wealthiest family in the world owns some of the world’s top sports clubs and has an astounding net worth of $470 billion.
Even if Elon Musk is the wealthiest person on the planet, his children aren’t exactly in charge of football teams.
However, no one can match the Walton clan, the heirs to the Walmart business, in terms of sheer, generational riches, particularly when you take into account their marriage to the Kroenke sports powerhouse.
A staggering $470.1 billion power union results from combining the staggering $449.8 billion fortune of the Walton family with the $21.3 billion fortune of sports magnate Stan Kroenke, who married into the dynasty.

That is literally more money than the GDP of the majority of nations.
Every American will be familiar with the tale of the Waltons’ origins of wealth.
Sam and Bud Walton, brothers, established the first Walmart shop in Arkansas in 1962 with the goal of providing their bargain store with unequaled pricing.
With more than 10,000 locations and an almost unrivaled market reach, Walmart is a worldwide retail behemoth today.
The Waltons are renowned for being unassuming despite their outrageous wealth. Even while they don’t show it around like other millionaires do, their actions, particularly in the sports industry, speak loudly.
The family paid a record-breaking $4.7 billion to acquire the NFL’s Denver Broncos in 2022, and Greg Penner, Sam Walton’s grandson-in-law, is now in control as the team’s CEO.
However, that is only the beginning, as Kroenke married into the clan via Ann Walton. Naturally, Kroenke is connected to a sports conglomerate that includes the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, and the Colorado Avalanche, which is named after Ann.
Additionally, Kroenke owns the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League.
According to Forbes, the Waltons have the following net worth: Christy Walton, $20.7 billion; Nancy Walton Laurie, $16.6 billion; Ann Walton Kroenke, $13.2 billion; Stanley Kroenke, $21.3 billion; Rob Walton & Family, $123.8 billion; Jim Walton & Family, $121.2 billion; Alice Walton, $112.5 billion; Lukas Walton, $41.8 billion.
That’s right, eight members of the family made it onto Forbes’ list of real-time billionaires, and their children are also remarkably wealthy.
Even though Walmart helped the Waltons become well-known, they are now diversifying their fortune.
