Trump Sparks ‘Body Double’ Theories With Curious Detail At NATO Summit

A ‘body double’ conspiracy idea has been triggered by Donald Trump after a recent snapshot caught an odd feature.

Body double rumours are nothing new to the Trump family.

First Lady Melania Trump has, after all, been the focus of numerous “body double” claims in recent years, according to which she uses a stand-in to do some of her duties.

Although the conspiracy theory has been around for a while, it gained momentum again after the election last year and during Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the United States at the beginning of this year.

However, now that Trump is in the spotlight, some are wondering if he utilised a body double during a recent appearance in the Netherlands.

Trump and other foreign leaders convened at the Hague for a NATO summit on Tuesday night, June 24.

The leaders were pictured standing for a picture with Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, followed by a ceremonial supper in what German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called a “historic” gathering.

However, one particular element in the picture left some perplexed.

Given that Trump looks shorter in the event images, one Twitter user asserted that a “mini Trump” had been dispatched to The Hague rather than the president.

“That… that is not Trump,” someone commented.

Someone more commented, “When I saw a video from earlier today I was wondering why he was so much shorter.”

And a third added: “Obviously not the real one. Not tall enough. Loved the people noting he’s in multiple places at once.”

One user, however, described it as “creepy.”

Others questioned the assertions, pointing out that Trump appeared shorter due to the towering guys he was surrounded by.

“I think he just looks short here because the King of the Netherlands is 6’5. Let’s not get carried away,” said one.

According to reports, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president of Turkey, is little over six feet, whereas King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands is six feet two inches.

At six feet three inches, Trump is reportedly taller than both of them.

He does, however, appear to be slightly taller than Erdoğan and shorter than King Willem-Alexander in the widely distributed image.

Naturally, there must be a reason for the disparity in height, and many have suggested that discrepancies may be caused by the shoes each leader is wearing.
