Tom Holland Reportedly Rushed To Hospital After Spider-Man Stunt Mishap

After getting hurt while filming a stunt for the forthcoming Spider-Man movie, actor Tom Holland was admitted to the hospital.

Spider-Man Brand New Day, the fourth installment in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man film series, is presently under production.

Some of the scenes were filmed in the UK, according to pictures of the set and footage that circulated on social media earlier this year.

On September 19, while filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK, Holland reportedly suffered a concussion after hurting his head in a tumble.

Following the incident, the day’s filming was apparently halted.

The event was reported to the Sun by a representative of the East of England Ambulance Service.

They said: “We were called at 10.30am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford.”

“An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.”

At a charity dinner, Holland’s comedian father, Dominic, also discussed the injury, stating that his son will be taking a “for a while” vacation from filming.

Holland attended the dinner with his fiancée Zendaya, but he reportedly departed early because he wasn’t feeling well.

It’s unclear how the movie’s development will go without Holland and whether this would result in a postponement of the July 2026 release date.

Given the suspicions that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be his last superhero appearance as the wall-climbing web slinger, Holland stated his excitement about filming the next installment before production began.

Speaking to Complex, he said, “It’s been a really fun process developing the movie.”

“It’s the first time I’ve ever been allowed in that part of the process, and it’s definitely a stressful experience. But I think where we’ve got to, now that we’re shooting, we are shooting absolute gold.”

“Its a fresh start, it really feels like we’re not making the fourth movie,” he added. “We’re making the first movie of the next chapter,” he continued. “It’s a rebirth. It’s a whole new thing.”

Holland added that he had secretly conducted research on what the audience wanted from the next Spider-Man picture by observing how they responded to the prior releases.

Holland returns to Brand New Day’s ensemble, which also includes newcomers like Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, Jacob Batalon, and Zendaya.
